Aging happens,
Never ceasing,
Far from flattened,
Always increasing.

I am still young,
But will grow older.
God's will be done,
Let me grow bolder.

You told me that there's nothing to think about. And now I'm sitting here and thinking about what did mean by that.

That's why girlfriends and boyfriends are only as good
As they go, and then come back,
Like the next flood.

Spiraling

a vacuum in my sternum

drinking in the void
gasping for air in the emptiness

I reminisce of distances
leapt
in instances
kept
in memories
forever, lingering

How heavy can emptiness be?
Who am I who sees
not me?

Who are they

who could not stay
and did they ever know
my disarray?

I am

an erratic notion
of emotion
in motionless

vastness

I am spastic
jerking and tumultuous

in the openness

of this
cosmic
loneliness

the endless
hindrance
of the intimate

above all echos,
here I stand
with spread arms
it took me long to realise
I am strong
I overcame sysiphus
now here I stand
convincing myself
that it was faith
that led me here
to the hills of serendipity
sysiphus still lives in me but maybe I’ll get to the peak one day!
Cry
If i could scream
out loud
like i scream
inside
Maybe some random
passerby
might not dismiss
the noise
as a weird animal
cry

I used to see the world
through jaded eyes;
my life comprised
of fear and scarcity.

I soaked up all the pain
I could retain
til nought was clear to me.

I died inside and every day,
I’d rise again to meet dismay,
but somewhere on the road
everything changed.
Now I’m walking merrily.

It is the people I have found
who show me life can be profound,
and I know now that all around me
there is poetry.

Have a walk,
Breath the air,
Laugh a lot,
Get back and do all the stuff you were procrastinating.

Found 'it' lacking by...

tourney of ellipses
journey-out abysses
squabbling over fitness
pending certain suspicions
errands thought religious
brands' overtly pillage
nightingale's bedtime mistress
all-consuming coexistence
life's antagonizing persistence
turbulent interrupting instance
contention eddying malicious
consuming measures delicious
subsistence adorning dishes
labor's fruitful wishes.
Some, from today, that made the list.

Euphoric tides rise & fall

Anchoring down , reluctantly to reality

as I would gladly float far into the heavens
