Is it legal
To be addicted?
Will I be sent to rehab
For being addicted to you?

Is it legal
To have butterflies in my stomach
As our lips meet,
While you hold me close to you,
Will I be judged
For feeling this way?

Is it legal
To feel like I belong to you
As you look at me affectionately,
Touching me like never before,
Sending shivers down my spine,
Will I be punished
For letting you love me this way?

Is it legal
To holding you,
And not wanting to let you go
Because it feels right?
Will I be ******
For wanting that?

I'm addicted.
I'm addicted to all of you.

**...And I'm not even guilty.

Morning

No sun shine today.
Grey and dull
And cold.

A light snow,
A single bird,
This place is frozen in time.
Winter has finally hit us.

So long, we've hidden in warm weather,
Now free of those constraints.
The cold brings us out of hiding.
To roam the world again.
Winter things we are.

Morning brings us forth to you.
I had this weird idea of some kind of winter monsters that can only come forth in very low temps. Where I live we've had unseasonably warm weather; this morning the temp is 5 degrees.

I don’t love you anymore
yet you plague my thoughts
like a bubonic wave
and my mind is rotting
in an attempt to **** you off

I don’t love you anymore
Yet your name grips onto my tongue
like a loaded gun
ready to shoot at any chance it gets

I don’t love you anymore
but I secretly hope
that you still might love me
-
if you can't feel love
then
you are only breathing*

not living

because
to live
means
to love
When you walked in the room
It’s like flowers started to bloom,
When I see your smile
It blows my mind for a while.

There’s a rhythm that my heart beats
It goes like labdab3x, what does it mean?
Days passed by, I started to write on few sheets
Sweet love poems from an inlove teen.

And every time he glanced on me
I’m melting like a cold ice cream,
The time you said a word to me
I would burst out my loudest scream.

I felt so happy
The time your love was shown to me,
I’m like a song with a tune
A bride meets the groom
A book with a tale
A princess in a fairy tale
A love story that never fail.

Wrote this way back high school.
Is there anything more wonderful
Then being part of the poet’s corner?
Lucky am I to be a poetry lover!
A romance novelist used poetry to ponder
A story that changes and transforms
One’s heart.  Is there anything more wonderful?
Joining a poetry site, I blundered
My way to writing a poem, oh what torture!
But lucky am I to be a poetry lover.
Many offered their support, allowing me to discover
My path and slowly my writing became stronger.
Is there anything more wonderful?
So many inspired awe and wonder,
Giving me strength to claim my own corner,
Justifying my becoming a poetry lover.
To those who offered encouragement so tender
I offer my thanks and give honor.
Is there anything more wonderful
Than becoming a poetry lover?*

Some steps are hard to take
Some people you just can't let go

That first step
When you hold your breath
And tread onto the ice

You pray in your mind
With your hands tightly clenched
That it won't break

That you won't break
Like you have before
So many times

You know it can hold you
But you don't know
If it can bear your scars

You carry them proudly
But not for all to see
A secret burden

They lighten some things
And others they drag down
But will they crack the ice

You reach for the edge
Something to grasp
But just out of reach

Just like your nights
You reach for someone
But they are just out of reach

It's not so much the fact of being alone
Than feeling alone
No one wants that.

Yes, you love your solitude
You crave the dark
Yet you need a friend

You want hands
To reach for you
To catch you

Before your fall
Before the ice cracks
In the moment of opportunity

That is where you find yourself
In that moment
In the moment of opportunity

You are not afraid
You have felt pain before
It still lingers, yet

You are not timid
You have walked this road
Yet it wearies you

You are apprehensive
Of who you are
In the dark

You do not know
If this is your last night
Maybe you wont return to the light

The sun kisses your face
But does not shine in your eyes
Like the light in those around you

The moon, your dark Queen
You bask in her light
And serve her temporal being

A balance you seek
A scale you weigh
Of light and dark

Both a beautiful half
Of a bigger part
The light all the of days

So territorial, you are
Of all you hold dear
Of all that lies

Just out of reach
You wish to hold it
All in your arms

Keep all you love
Safe from harm
But it tears your wounds open

Your scars burn like fire
In gaze of unknown eyes
And you turn to the shadows

But my friend
My dearest friend
I know you

I have walked the halls
Of your sorrowed heart
I know the corridors

The doors you hide behind
And the pain behind your eyes
And still I love you

I would save you from yourself
Never, to destroy again
Battles you would not have to fight

I do not know
How long wars last
One day is enough

Half of your heart
Is cold and dark
But not barren

Half of you heart
Is warm and light
But still not beating

Your mind an expanse
You let me inside
So I would find

A place to hide
A place to know
A place to fight

Gentle songs
Ring from your lips
And bid the demons shrink

Strong words
Of forgotten days
Tremble on the brink

And cascade into victory
A crown of golden stars
To be placed upon your head

A ruler, all her own
A ruler, of her own
A ruler, never alone
