That's All She Wrote
Who Feb 2020
I used to do this
out of spite
Only one reader
No one sees what I write

Poetry never was a vent
But I have nothing else
Prepare for an event

A show, I show
what you'd never know
I never let this out,
but it constantly grows.

You'll never hear me say it
and I'll never say its name
When you know, you know, you know?
But who's truly to blame?

The parent who was accused of a crime?
From my life, that figure was pried
The one who moved across the globe?
"Because of you," that's all she wrote.

Was it my childhood?
Who Feb 2020
It looks like a ****** scene
when you look inside my mind
The blood stains are so obscene
The floor is hard to find

Wood splinters and stubbed toes
Cold winters from broken windows
Slammed doors, the noise is constant
Mystery tours of the messy conscious

Another day, always stressed
It sounds cliche but I'm depressed
My emotions are constantly bottled up
One of these days they will erupt
Not suicidal but not not suicidal.

Polluted
Who Oct 2018
The air is filled
with smoke
I choke
I gasp to escape it
And yet I light another cigarette
Why do we do that which we hate the result of and love to do it

This is it
Who Oct 2018
Blades can't be dull
Bullets can't be slow
One in the skull
and one in the wrist

Maybe a noose,
can't be too loose
Maybe a building,
tall enough to not feel it

Too bad
my body is stronger than my mind
I might've done it one of these days
but if I fail, it could go one of two ways
I try again tomorrow or I get caught
hello counseling.
Talking about **** people hate is kind of my specialty

In the words of the wise and all knowing eight year old Roblox players, oof.

My First Tattoo
Who Feb 2018
I got my first tattoo
It's small and on my foot
It's sloppy like my life
And doesn't look that good

But it's not actually my first tattoo
That in fact was you
Not something anyone could see
Painted in me when you knew me
But I had it removed years ago. It was expensive. But worth it.
Who Jan 2018
Tear it down, build it up
All I need is to stay on your good side

Manipulate, articulate
Lies to repair any fight.
I lie more than I tell the truth, and honestly I am okay with it.

Cut
Who Jan 2018
Cut
A slice,
Through this.
Our relationship.
Not my wrists.

I am going to end it.
This is my last goodbye,
To you.

The rest of the world will still know me. Just I hope I never see you.
Who Jan 2018
Our history is like a sheet of glass, shattered to pieces.
It's now millions of shards
And picking them up is hard

But it's even harder
To put that sheet back together
Because no matter how much glue you use,
At any moment it could shatter.

Again.

Who Dec 2017
Ok Google…
Find me directions to Sanity Street.

Finding directions to Sanity Street.
*There is heavy traffic and construction; you are on the slowest route.
I trusted you with my mind but you drove drunk and killed it in a terrible accident.
Who Dec 2017
Stop telling me how to live my life
As if you really care

I know it's *******, and you do too
You're just scared you can't control what I do

At least, anymore.
Leave me the **** alone already
Who Dec 2017
Brown, silky,
"You don't know me"
I wish I did,
But for the wrong reasons
I want to love you
But I change with the seasons
Feelings are not my specialty

I get around
Who Aug 2017
They call me a *****,
And sure, I get around
Every night sees intimacy
With prostitutes of simplicity

Night one, is simply Alone
She's a subtle one, but hard to own.

Night two sees Happiness, but like the rest,
we enjoy one night, and she's gone the next

Night three, Depression, she's a real *****
She's like a crazy ex girlfriend, hard to ditch
She'll hunt you down wherever you go,
No matter where, she seems to know.

Night four is Anxiety,
She leaves her mark
She makes me nervous
And she's a freak in the dark

Night five I take a break,
But all of them visit me
They break into my mind
But not Happiness she's busy

For they're not prostitutes,
Just lonely souls
Looking to take advantage
Of people not whole

When you leave your mind open
This is what you ask for
Sleeping around with all those feelings
Does make you a *****
Depression left me 12 voicemails
