My eyes Wide.
      Grey pupils dilate.
          Blade buried deep inside,
               where dry waters Hide.

Mind like a jungle,
Each leaf a different story.
The clouds gently mumble,
Caressing sweet dreams of glory.

The world was red,
it will be so again.
For now rest your head.
your tired from what you went against.

Walls here in this open valley,
aren't meant for restraint.
Green on a turquoise gallery,
picture these words I paint.

Grow your grave,
from a willow seed.
As the dirt slowly begins to cave,
you comes upon a black steed.

Drunk from honor,
Lust for pride.
Not much longer,
Your corpse your bride.

My wounds bleed
to tell a tale.
Donate your greed,
As I turn pale.

Carpe Diem

Petal pie
Mmmmmmmascapone
with sun drenched
honeyed figs
soaked in sweet wine
I revel in your taste
close my eyes
your flavours divine

You are worth every
savoured minute
as you pass
through my lips
that go straight to form
extra millimetres
of flesh on my hips.
yummy!

(Never underestimate the power
Of the gift of giving a flower)

You can't fail her
with a bright dahlia
With it's perfect symmetry
Caress her nose
With the scent of a rose
And a cup of Earl grey tea

Make a daisy chain
For her flowing mane
And rub her tired  toes
Treat your filly
To a glorious lily
And a day of sweet repose

Surprise her at the station
With a bunch of carnations
And hold her hand for a while
Make things swell
In a field of bluebells
That'll surely bring a smile

Get down on one knee
With some lovely peonies
And look deeply into her eyes
The sight of an iris
Could fill her with such bliss
If you take her by surprise

You could please her
With some pink freesias
And a well planted kiss
If the romance slips
Choose some bright tulips
The thought won't go amiss!
Just wishful thinking really! Haha! As you can probably tell I love flowers and I thought of this when sitting opposite a man with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
We each partook of our respective
Champagne glasses almost in spot on simultaneity
Toasting to a life full of nicety
Hadn’t we been born with silver cutlery
In our mouths?
Armed with a sense of perspective
But this doesn’t guarantee an alienation of misery
We being hormonal imbalanced youths
Rational irrationality the bedrock
Of most if not all our decisions
We ourselves each other’s stumbling block
Nursing grandiose delusions.
We hence seldom ‘work ‘hand in glove
As we’re “drunk in love”.
Love's blind
literally and figuratively
ever been  *Love-holic*?
Red hot piece of searing coal
In place of mine Adams apple
Mine eyes I tightly shut
Anticipating a massive torrential ‘downpour’ of tears
But alas mine eyes barely wet they too “cry foul”
It’s an altercation that’s blown out of proportion confirming fears
That Masquerade as my strengths, somewhat.
I recede to the “chapel”
Of my thoughts
Whence I derive a little piece of “peace of mind”
That too is an exercise in futility
As the mind has seemingly long outlived its utility
And what remains are few blots
Of sane insanity defined.
Ever been involved in
a seemingly uncivilized discourse
by that I mean an argument
and all you could do is stare blankly at nothing
while the other person verbal **diarrheas
Thaw the numbing ice
Clogging my soul’s arteries
And veins.
Make me feel
to my heart's fill
Make me warm again
like I was those long gone
days
of "Yore".
