I am the highest mountain,
my tips tickling the sky.
I am the flickering candle,
that brings light to your eye.
I am the smallest rain drop,
that makes tarns and rivers grow.
I am the twinkling stars,
that show you which way to go.
I am the current of the tides,
and the moon that makes them change.
I am a gift or favor given,
without expecting any exchange.
You see I am not only human,
I own nothing you can measure;
but I am made of stardust,
the universe's greatest treasure.
To remind all of you how special, unique and beautiful you are, for you are made of stardust!

There's a ghost in the machine
A distant heartbeat
An echo
A recollection of tides pulled by the rhythm
Of the moon
A lunar cycle
Of leaves swirled
And now settled
By the whisper
Of the breeze
A message repeated
But not audibly heard
Remembered and understood.
You are in the right place
Where you need to be
All you need now
Is to breathe and be.
Thank you everyone for the likes and comments, my poem being chosen as the Daily has made my day!! :0)

I see the beauty in a palm-
sized tomatoes growing afloat in Inle Lake
the one-legged fisherman
silhouetted just like his perilous
wooden boat against the slow setting
sun. I hear thin echoes
of beauty
hundred years
of ruins, temples, stupas standing
with pride, the culture of longyi, worn
with delight

I took the train that goes
on a loop
saw  buildings, the market, the houses,  plantations
a city  a country covered
by a dark cloud that has yet to
acknowledge a genocide
The darkness rise with cries

‘mingalaba’ a Burmese
lady with a white cream on her face which is made from ground bark called ‘thanaka’ comes to sit by the Dyamayanggi Temple
the scorching sun-filled flakes the paste
a basket full of snack, she offers
with a smile

The joy in chasing sunset in the land of thousand pagodas. A mystical climb a striking landscape. I breathe,
feel and wish to stay
longer. Soaked in the twilight of the moment. In a fleeting time of closing my eyes, I drown with the colours of the golden sky.

In the stillness of the dark
I sit,
And outside my window
The night holds many possibilities.
People move within the shadows
Barely visible to the naked eye
Living shadow lives alongside my own.

Do we dream together?
And will love survive death?

I see you
In different times
Living different lives
And myself as a shadow
Living my own shadow life.

love is to be read
by not the eyes but
the heart

the body turns
and trembles
and opens

you didn't tell
me that the green
was closing in

but the fence nailed
open
and turns
and trembles.
