The meteors that fall down on Earth,
Shooting stars they call them I hear.
The blue hot comets that circle our hearth,
Like old Halley who visits once every 75 years.

You are a gorilla,
Strong, ugly and fat.
But we all love you,
And we know you love us too.
Even though you're not here,
*We'll be keeping you near.

Sometimes I hate being lonely,
On this cold and dark night.
Just need somebody to hold me,
And tell me its gonna be alright.

Two pieces of foam,
Hung to my ears.
Eradicates surroundings and makes me feel home,
Brings me music to love and hear.

What Am I?

My body is of a man,
My mind is of a child.
My spirit is chained,
My soul is exiled.
My heart is empty,
My love is dry.
But I won't give up,
Trying to break free.
I'll get there one day,
So don't waste your pity on me.

Hello, Hello Poetry,
How are you today?
What poems have you got to showcase?
A romantic poem here,
A joyful one there.
Maybe even one about lust,
Oh what wonders you bring to us.

Here is tale from long ago,
It goes long but you wont get bored.
Where heroes slay a ferocious foe,
And this is their long lost lore...

Centuries ago when Romans ruled the land,
The barbaric Britons tried and failed.
To defend their noble land,
And so the Romans came and hailed.

However one queen would not have that,
She would cut the Romans down.
Despaired that her husband's death,
She made sure the Romans drowned.

Soon there were a ferocious battle,
The Britons fought strong and held.
They reclaimed their land and cattle,
And killed the Roman general.

Despite their victory,
Sadly it wont last long.
The Romans came and killed,
And the Britons were doomed all along.

The queen of Iceni,
Soon took her life.
The Britons remained buried her by a tree,
Next to her husband a loving wife.

So here ends my tale,
Its sad but true.
But to all Britons hail,
For they had victories too.

We all don't belong on this world,
It takes us a while to settle in.
But alas once we have I am told,
The future brings more in.

So don't be afraid to let go,
Don't let your joy become sorrow.
For once you have courage to lose the shore,
You'll have the bravery to cross.

Life is short,
So lets see all its splendor.
Raise your torch,
And say hello to new adventures.

Sometimes in life,
We have to take the hard way.
But when you find love,
You'll be cruising on the highway.

Will you be lost or be part of history?
Will your story be told or remain a mystery?
Will your descendants know what good you've done?
Will they finish what you've begun?
Will they sing your song of joy?
Will your song remind them not to run away?
Or will your memories falter,
And slowly fade away?

Darkness is the absence of light,
Defeat is the absence of pride.
Chaos is the absence of right,
Insanity is the absence of mind.

There will always be a battlefield,
Full of chaos and lies.
Don't be afraid,
A hero will rise.

The hero is abstract,
It can't really be seen.
But the hero can be felt,
And provides a shoulder to lean.

The hero has a sword,
And from the ashes it will ascend.
Stronger than any lord,
All pain will end.

We all take little things for granted,
But they mean the most to us.
A blade of emotion,
Strikes harder than one of steel.

God gave us a gift,
And from the  heavens it will descend.
The greatest gift of all tells us,
**Hold On All Pain Will End.

Theres a place I long to be,
A place where only I belong.
A place that everyone sees,
But its perfect just for me.

Because of who  was yesterday.

*From all of these a story is born.

when time stood still,
like that photo,
on your window sill.

sat on that hill,
like that river,
let those waters spill.

do you think we'll,
regret that choice,
if we take that thrill?

in that moment,
would you risk it all?
even if we fall?

You locked yourself away,
When we were fighting and screaming.
You refused to open the door,
When I was pounding and pleading.

The flashing lights came,

The black raven bows its head,

some people once said
that you will love me one day
years on i still wait

I walk these streets alone,
Empty, forgotten and finally free.
The old faces of happiness and hope,
Are long gone and never to be seen.
I'm the only one left,
My street is dead.
The old community that once thrived,
Has now sadly died.

Pass through the arteries and into the lungs,
Through the capillaries.
Till I  reach my heart.

A muscle at work,
A place of love,
A place of feeling,
A place of peace.

My instincts tell me not to fall back,
For if I do my story will end.
When I finally discover me,
I can finally make the world a better place to be.

Joy is the greatest feeling,
One can ever feel.
Y**ou feel happy and you know it will heal.

A book is my best friend,
It takes me to many places.
And the number I read never ends,
Because books cannot be put down.

From Mountains to Rivers,
Forests to Space,
Fairies to Mummy's Curse,
And Dragons and Haste.
The list I never ends,
Because books are my best friends.

I'm just a kid,
I don't know life.
All I know is that,
I've got to get it right.

Perhaps its the road,
Maybe a sharp bend.
But there's a reward,
Waiting at the end.

Sometimes the path leads you astray,
But that's OK.
You'll live to another day.
Let the demons go away.

I'll learn as I go,
The journey is enough.
Hopefully I'll have a chance,
To find true love.

I just want you to listen to me,
I don't care about your advice.
For once shut up,
And stop giving me lies.

There's a time when you're lost,
Alone, terrified.
There comes a time when you feel,
Scared and horrified.

Everyone goes through these phases,
Yet not everyone makes it out alive.
There are some impossible stages,
Wait a little while, and see it resolve in time.

So if you're ever down,
Depressed and tainted,
Take a knee,
And tie up your laces.

What's that colour in the sky?
Could it be the rays of light
From the days gone by?
And dare I cry your name,
As your colours fade to grey.
Take me to that paradise up high.

Yeah we call it history,
Our ancestor's misery,
True or false a mystery,
Throw in a bit of trickery,
That tasted bitterly,
When we are kept in captivity,
Bringing out the artillery,
Might just be simplicity,
Or maybe just stupidity,
Learn a bit of humility,
Sit on a rock tranquillity,
Inspiring **** creativity,
Everything is a possibility,
Whether we react with negativity,
Or take it literally,
Follow religion divinity,
Maybe we just need some responsibility,
Work together synergy,
To get to a place called victory,
Doing it all for Lady Liberty.

when I woke up
the morning was cold,
the sky was dark.
it was like even the Earth knew.
throw on my suit,
black as coal.
I'm late,
felt like the longest walk of my life.
when I get there,
the service has begun.
the priest begins his solemn words
there's flowers,
red, white, yellow
no one's crying - yet.
I take the last empty seat,
The coffin.

We'll be singing a song,
A song you won't forget.
So leave your worries behind.
And come and sing-along!

Love me with your sweet kisses,
Love me when I'm down.
Love me wherever I go,
Love me by the rainbow.

I'll be with you forever,
I'll never really die.
My spirit will always be with you,
So you'll never have to cry.

The dragon is awakening.

When I get drunk,

because the weather outside is frightful,
the wind, the rain, the storm they blow.
guess i'll sit inside and be spiteful,

Like a shooting star to Earth,
Who gives light as it dies.
However the star gives birth,

I know we worked hard to get here,
And now is the time.
To take the glory home from what we have achieved.
And may the church bells chime.

The song of hope,
The song of our story,
The song of our legacy.
May our story be forever remembered,
On the 22nd of December.
But we still have a long way to go;
