Mum she is in the beginning,
Armed with a lot of patience,
Rhyming it with an elegant silence,
Yarn of poetry she is threading.

With all her immense patience,
In this wicked world she is happy,
Not worrying about anything,
She keeps her patience unharmed,
Leveraging her happiness on herself,
Of beautiful words she is a lady,
W**ish her I do a lot of happiness.

become embellished part of lore in

an old souls eye

but where Pam was concerned

it was more a play

set in the cinema

the last row

while the credits

rolled ,

and we played

it was more than

that

she gave me life

her young self

a star in my eyes

popcorn and cold mints

coca-cola clutches

seats separating two young souls
discovering

stardom

immortality

almost

not listening to

the usher

yelling

calm down
I forgot

who was the star?

Poetic T
Whispers fall on the garden of eternity,
where eyes blossom gazing forth into nothing .

Petals  kiss with lips of pollen into the void,
sunny days extinct within a breath of moments.

Cute were the last cries of luminosity echoing intimately
as they surrendered, like raindrops in the gardens of eternity.
The place I came from was known locally
As Apache country
Later to become the Lebanon
I guess you get the drift
Even to this day
Taxis are loath to go there after dark
And nobody blames them

Everybody smoked back then
And most men got drunk too often
Women might get a little merry
When weekend came round
Most men hated their jobs
And many women hated their lives
But everyone carried on
Because it had to be done

In the streets I learned every swear word
Long before I started school
In a place where "****** this"
And "****** that" and worse
Were everyday parlance
Nobody ever mentioned "love"
Oh, don't get me wrong
I know that there was love around
But I only ever heard it mentioned
In the words of popular songs

He was delivered over to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.

Romans 4:25 NIV

For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that all who believe on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

roadkill diners
Texas highway cleaners
a swooping trio of you--a blue
black choreography

what
had you spotted
on the hot
asphalt?

in a decade
of seconds, you
vanished--or actually
I did, leaving a wake
of you in my own
wake:

a shimmering heat mirage
in a rearview mirror, a memory
more mythical than your feast
I hope I wouldn't smash my thumb
or throw it

through the picture window, like my neighbor did,
just yesterday,

while I was mowing my grass
which is yet half high

because I had to watch while the police arrested
my hammer heaving pal

who hates his unfaithful wife, his yapping Chihuahua,
and his life;

the spouse and spunky canine
are just fine it seems,

fortunate there was glass to shatter
on a Saturday afternoon
