Sea's End
When two poets love,
Words start to hang in the air
And lose their meaning.
Another haiku? Wow! I'm only so good with words until I actually need to use them. Just ask my girl. (Spoiler alert: I'm really bad at articulating my thoughts in the heat of the moment. That's why I'm here.)

You, with hands like Ambien
Talking me down off the ledges
I was born and raised on
Slowing down the heart
That's beating for you now
Out of my chest
Into your hands
Safer than it was with me
I didn't need to be medicated
Just loved,
Just loved.

The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.
Down by an endless ocean, sitting on jagged rocks
Creatures entice with emotion, they sing but never talk
A lamenting in devotion, while Demeter cries and mocks

I cry out, “From my arms, away from me!
“Hell has stolen my Persephone!”

That’s not true, dear, I’m not yours to keep
So, please, you don’t need to weep
Some myths claim that rather than seducing sailors with their voices, the sirens sang to mourn the kidnapping of Persephone, their beloved friend, and call out for her return.

We have no name
We live no where
No directions leads to us
Meet us by
Knocking the doors of LOVE
And if you see us in
LOVERz eyes
In a BELOVEDz glimpse
YOU may meet us there

~~~~
If Ranjhana didn't sing
If Zuliet didn't dance
The world is to blame
For LOVE's despair
~~~~

I want to remain
The last page of LOVE
Of your life's chapter
Remember...
Once you wept for me
Let tears cleanse my tomb

~~~~
Two incense sticks burn
It's ashes blow in the wind
Like birds - wings in flight
Pollinating LOVE in souls
~~~~

When, Where, How, Why?
Beyond world's prying
No one knows the reasons
Yet we meet everyday
In our secret ways
We LOVE more than live
We dive within each other
To stare at our reflections

~~~~
Destiny is our bride
Fate - our groom,
And
Even if we are apart
It is LOVE's light
Illuminating NOOR
Uniting our SOUL
A Tribute
I didn't say hello
When he walked in
I never say hello
It is a big, big word
A concrete foundation
To make houses in human beings
I can't be sure I want to make my home
Or that I'll know how to find the exit
When the hearth gets cold
And the coffee is stale
When shelter turns to a prison
I stumble out of Saturday morning
It is a big, big word
And he builds big, big houses
But he never feels like home for long
I am always outgrowing my shells
The new ones never fit quite right
I just want to feel like I belong here
Like something was made just for me
I am tired of being too much of myself
One day my shell will grow with me
The world will say to me,
"You, Hermit, are just enough,
You, Hermit, have a home here."
