born with a halo shattered
human afterbirth in dirt
withered wings, feathers tattered
protrusions of pain and hurt

only an angel can be born
held by the devil's hands
flesh becomes hard, when its torn
only an angel understands
I wrote this a few years ago. I don't think I have posted it for a while
And your chest might feel heavy, dear
but that's only because of gravity.

When someone tries to convince you otherwise,
take them to the pool and float on your backs;
look at the sky and squint at the bright sun

Let the unsaid words
in your blood,
flow into the water

and the 3-kilo breaths
fly into the wind

wash your skin
from all mistakes

and your cerebrospinal fluid
from all toxins

every second
is a new one

don't lose hours,
thinking that only days
are a fresh start
Peering through crimson curtains,
Into the life of someone new.
Peeling away their layers,
Until all becomes black, just like you.
I wrote a heartfelt poem for you but it wouldn't post
I picked a pretty flower for you but it died
I bought some delicious chocolate for you but I ate it
Basically I just can't do anything for you that you deserve
And that *****
