The stars said " I love you" and moon said "Me too"
And Jupiter said "Whoever does not love is only a fool."

The sun said "Be bright", the earth said "Be bold"
And Venus nodded, saying  "Find yourself somebody to hold."

Mars circled a little closer and said "Do not waver"
So Uranus smiled gently and said "Don't let others see you quaver."

Neptune told you "There's so much to see"
And Mercury said "It does not take much to know you are free."

So Pluto called out, saying "There's much more to know!"
The universe agreed, and said "There's more time to grow."

The Milky Way murmured "Keep your love at your core"
And I looked up and said "I will always love you more."

Knelt not like candles
lit for celebration but
driven like needles
into pine by
hammer.

We only spoke once
But I though of you
The rest of the day
And all night through

I dreamed of us
Happily together
In warm sunshine
Or rainy weather

We were happy, content
I couldn't ask for more
My life had been closed
You my open door

And then I woke up
In an empty bed
With thoughts of you
Still in my head

Across the night
Did you dream of me too?
Did I even deserve
To dream about you?

I slowly began to realize that he would rather invite the demons under his bed to laze in his sheets than come to me

A me that would lay my guts out flat
A me that would bleed for him until my veins were so dry they ached and I could hear them crack

I remembered he was always scared of being loved ~so he would rather have someone's skin against his raw flash than my eyes on him
He would rather taste her lips than let my arm feel his bones

He was scared of me~
Because I knew what he really was

No body lives forever.
Everyone lives and dies.
It's not about how long or why.
It's about the best of times.

An endless supply of words held me together
Strung up in a line to keep stringing me along
Perhaps I'm fooling myself to believe the muddle of letters
Or it's just natural to want to not believe what you've known all the time

To think a few words could keep the flame flickering is amazing
That the smallest notion could move the ocean
Or that time could reverse a crack in the shell of a heart
Maybe one day the walls will stop building themselves to let something in
And the tide will finally flow again, bringing you with it.
