and then I asked you,
"What's your biggest fear?"

you gave me a quivering sigh,
looked at me straight in the eyes
and said,

"It's that eventually, you will see me
the way I see myself."

I saw a tin of
spaghetti flying in sky
So glad it had wings
I'm glad I didn't get bump on my head :)

the most frustrating thing
when it comes to a writer
is when everything
every word, every letter,
isn't enough to give justice to
the captivating picture of you
in the afternoon:

soaked in sweat,
grinning foolishly,
striking up a conversation
about coffee,
and how unhealthy it is
for me to drink
three cups straight,
to stay awake,

yet the bittersweet taste
stains my lips.

it spills down my throat,
covers my lungs,
and drowns them
with the addicting aroma
of coffee beans
and lazy dreams,
until i cannot seem
to breathe,

and the only thing
i can ever do
is to spill ink
for you.

In this world full of chaos
I try to find solace
I try to find peace

In a place
Where there are foxes everywhere but no sheeps
I try to find a soul who is same as me

In this world of  fake smiles and cunning minds
I try to find someone divine
Someone with a sacred soul and a beautiful mind

You will feel the space
between sounds,
between your fingers
and your faces,

it will hurt your ears
to communicate
any desire to touch,
to see, to hear,

and when you taste
their absense,
it will become far too easy
to long for their perfume
on your pillows.

In the morning rain
There’s a feeling that grows,
Softly dripping,
Gently slipping
Into a dream.

It’s another day as
Thoughts gently sway.
Walking with memories
In this drizzling mist
Is hard to resist.

Across the meadow
A whippoorwill sings.
Down in the valley,
The echoes resound
With a joyous sound.

Ideas flow out but
Nothing comes easy.
The fabric is old
But a story unfolds
As the tapestry grows.

Woven with care,
This gentle refrain
Settles the soul and
Fills up the mind
With meanings.

Leaving behind
The mirage of time,
A rhythm explodes
Into mighty songs
Of healing.

Fashioned by fate
The music flows,
The flowers grow
And the raindrops know
It’s time to sow those tender feelings.
OK, I just noticed that this is the 400th poem I've posted on HP. A milestone I guess. My how times flies when you're having fun. ;)
