The black veil shrouds my vision
I can't see in front of me, I can't see behind
I walk on, purely out of fear for what will happen if I stop
I walk for what seems like an eternity
I panic, wondering if I'll ever escape this void
I scream, hoping someone will hear
I beg to hear another voice
I plead for relief from this torture
I start to consider stopping
I want this to end
I can't carry on like this
Nobody to help me
Nobody to care
Nobody to lift the veil
No reason to continue.

I am not a flower that you can pick at your will. I am a thorn and I will ***** you before I let you snap me in half.

Are you sorry about yesterday?
Did you note the damage you inflicted
on an already broken being, a girl,
fighting to keep her tears at bay?

Are you sorry about tomorrow?
Will you regret the stupid decisions,
the way you choose to spend your life,
or your actions that will lead to sorrow?

People say the past is the past,
to stop obsessing over every little thing.
I try to tell my mind to stay out of tomorrow
but it wanders and the unknown is vast.

I’m sorry about yesterday,
and all the horrible things I did.
I’m sorry about tomorrow,
and for all the terrible things I’ll say.
He hung onto his straps and shrugged. "Yesterday happens."

It is said that only fools rush in
To that, I must disagree
A magnetic attraction
Trying to fight it
Is like trying to deny
Mother Nature's raw power
Sometimes it just feels right
Because it is right
Saying only fools rush in is wrong
Only fools rush out

I’m the one wearing the
Rusted gold ring,
Hypnotized by my hard cold
Tears that sting
That rolls down to my open wound
That will never close because
Of the stress I bring.
