She exhaled, and the smoke became her neighbor.
"I came from you," it said, "I've been through your lungs.
Why are you so anxious?"

Anxious.

She looked our her window. The trees were still.
"You came from my lungs," she said,
"why don't you tell me?"

She turned to it, but it was gone.

These days we
last long enough to grow old
live long enough to reflect
but don't grow up enough
to bother.
Lord, save us from ourselves.

I will not attack
my lack of activity.
I am still alive.

As the sun swelters,
I wear the sky with clouds
to keep me light and breezy.

Connection is best
when mouths are lubricated
with honest intent.

I want to stay a
balled up cocoon in my bed
for eternity.

You must have laser
eyes, 'cause your stare is setting
my body ablaze

Been feeling myself
lately, unimpressed by those
who aren't feeling me.

When like minds combine,
the world is easy to grasp;
