Here I lie in a perpetual state of wonder
If you'd tell me your intentions it would break this spell that I'm under
Do you know what you're doing?
Do you have any respect?
Or is my heart just an object to willingly neglect?
You said you would beat someone up if I had a bad day
Look in the mirror at your reflection
Punch away
Deserted dry land
Bodering the princely state
There once lived
A king unconquered till date

Never did he surrendered his will
The glance at the beauty clear as milk
Diamond eyes and smile as fresh as spring
Heart slipped wrapped up in royal silk

pincess Hadi, greeted his love
Together bonded forever in bliss until, the bells of danger started to ring
And it was time for a good bye kiss

Duty or love he had to weigh
Said to her, he might rather stay
Bold Queen Radi had rajput blood
Convinced her husband to serve nation first
Reluctant he, agreed to the terms
Asking for a love token to take
Radi the queen surprised him when
Served him, her beheaded head
So that nothing could come between him and the nation at stake

Six AM this
chill morning,
I bear witness
as a single maple leaf
floats to earth.

Winter prepares
to keep her
infallible promise
once more.

Make a Zendo
of your hovel.
It doesn't matter
where you park
that lovely ***,
it always floats
on nothingness.

Is it time
To write a rhyme
Or should I write blank verse?
The meaning of the cosmos beckons me
So maybe my verse should just run free.

What matters is what I have to say,
Before I send you on your way.
We need a world of Peace and Love,
And shouldn’t need guidance from above.

Mother Nature asks for a rhyme
To help preserve her, for all time.
Doing otherwise is just a crime
For which we deserve much more than a fine.

If you don’t believe in God,
Then believe in Good.
And spare the rod,
There’s better use for wood.

Thanks for reading this, my friend,
We have now reached the very end.

Another early-morning rhyme!

nivek
Tumbled out the nest earlier than usual
woken by the ring of the house phone
it must have been a wrong number
and now everything will be changed
the micro will effect the macro for ever
this tiny spaceship awakened prematurely
with all its burners lit up like the Sun
hurtling onward to the end of a day
woken early by a ringing wrong number.

There was a time when I loved the water.
Loved it's coolness
Loved it's freedom.

There was a time when I loved the moon.
Loved it's presence
Loved it's freedom.

There was a time when I loved the sky.
Loved it's vastness.
Loved it's freedom.

There was a time when I soared,

There was a time when nothing could stop me.

There was a time...

Was.

There was a time...

There was a time when I loved the night.
Loved it's secrets
But more it's freedom.

Never again.

There was a time when I loved the shadows.
Loved their protection
But more their freedom.

Never again.

There was a time when I loved you.
Loved your light
Loved your freedom.
But I never really was one to open my eyes.

Was.
