I wish my
lips could
be sewn
shut with
a blood red
needle &
thread,
a visible
display
of how I
feel on my
worst of days
when I
want to
lock myself
away,
when words
are strangers
exchanging
kisses across
lips & hearts
are graveyards
burying
broken
promises.

To make them better people,
So they can learn and then teach,
So they can offer comfort and healing to the hurt.
So they remember that they're not above all else because they're good people,
So that they realise that no one is immune to lifes battles,
But winning is optional.
And so they can talk about it,testify and change a life.
