Moonflower
Less human,
More soul,
This is the way
Things must flow.

Quick thoughts
Like raindrops,
This is the art
Of letting go

there are people that I miss

some I can't see anymore

some I want to kiss

and others I miss because there presence is near but the person they were is not here

maybe some I don't miss so much of them,
but more the times

we spent making history

there should be a word for missing someone and a word for missing who someone was

it's not like it really would matter though

cause I wouldn't know which word to use

I miss you most when you are near me,
Since I once knew you but not anymore.
Since “we” can no longer be,
I miss you most when you are near me.
If only my heart would let me be free,
I could move on. My life, restore.
I miss you most when you are near me,
Since I once knew you but not anymore.

Calm.
There's a resounding calm over me.
The day was long.
You're not here.
But that's not to say you won't be again.
This hot toddy is perfection.
The only thing that could make it better is your company.
I miss you, but not painfully today.
Today I miss you comfortably;
In a way that says I'm adjusting to whatever this is.

I'm sad.
And I miss everybody.
But you most of all.
And I'm proud of you.
And I'm proud of myself.
And I think about you.
And that makes me happy.

Anomynous.
Poem dedicated to my friends.

The worst goodbyes
Are the ones too painful
To speak!

The worst goodbyes
Are the ones that you
Never get to say!
I leave all my windows down until I can't stand the cold
And my hair is blown by the wind until it's dry

I take to the road until it can no longer take me away
And I think of you until I'm saved by the thought of anything else

I go until all the radio stations sound of static
And I wait for the sun to rise until it hits me that maybe this time it won't

I drive until I don't know where I am
And every time I get a little further
