A rose from a window
looks like any other rose,
but as the old lady stares
out through the thin glass
a fondness develops,
begins to form a memory,

reaching back,
grasping the past,

that very slowly forms
the image of a rose,
proud in an old garden,
upstanding to catch the eye
of a young girl
staring out of a window.

Would I have ever written
If always surrounded by the people I grew up with, my folks
They are a reason for my happiness and strength
Being with family and forgetting the rest
Life is great, in my Happy nest
But, it brings you reasons and its own tests
So I write, forgetting the rest
Thoughts to myself
Don’t feel like writing
Can’t write
Bridging the gap
A fight

Drowning
afloat
bobbing
Dreaming

Not feeling the heart
Beats without a beat
Sinking

The spoken never a first choice
Written
Words lose the game
All good!
Had it not been for this place I would have never written anything beyond the first few times that I must have penned my thoughts.
Sharing my thoughts here has been a boon to me. Thank you all for reading and understanding

You bring me garlands everyday,
Strung with the most delicate flowers
From your ****** garden!
Each one of them is a gem
One as beautiful as the other
Laden with your myriad emotions
Exuding your innermost thoughts
Spreading the most heavenly aromas!
I thank you, poets of the heart,
Architects of hopes and dreams,
For making me aspire for life!
