It was petty, really
what we had
but it was more than worth it
and you were more than worth it
and now you're totally gone
I came to that realization
when I noticed the flirty stares
and the nonexistent hellos you used to give
were as gone as you
and I don't know what to do

Forever is a lie
You disparaged me and left
Tomorrow I'll fall again
Not in love but in need
For that cute guy in my class
You don't define forever
You and me don't forever
We may have infinite chasm between us
But infinity doesn't define forever either
Tell me something about you
Something nobody else knows
Show some truths
Reveal to me your soul
Don't make it too obvious
Hide your secrets within ink
Not too long and not too short
But make me think
Make me guess
Help me to understand
Write out your dark confessions
And I'll be your biggest fan
Write a poem more than 5 lines but less than 20 revealing something about yourself that no one else knows, but don't say it exactly.  This might be tricky but  I got faith y'all can do it.  Tag it with #secretconfessions so I can  find  it. Thx.

Unwanted
I miss you

Unwanted
I miss you
so much my heart beats out my chest
I'm trying to past this test
But God knows I need you
and as i fight my demons
struggle to find who I am
To become a real man
I realize i will never be complete
without you
and I know you don't love me
the way i want you to
and you don't want to spend the rest of your life with me
something I never fully believed we would do
but I still had hope
but that's leaving me
the same way i left you

His Words

Kennedi A
it was his charm
it was his demeanor
it was his dashing looks
his intellect
that first caught my attention.
most importantly,
it was his words. . .
his words
when spoken
seemed to be complementing me
his words. . .
when spoken,
seemed to draw me in
further and further
deeper and deeper,
until I was hooked.
his words. . .
which tasted like the sweetest of nectar
turned out to be
poison dripping from
his pink padded lips.
I should be used to this
it was all the same
the same old game
now I'm left here
with my heart broken again.

Cracked and cold,
My heart slowly turns into stone.
I fill myself with fantasy and filth to appease my dying heart. False realities play before my eyes, of what could be and what will never be.
They fill me with such hope of naive romance.
Reality comes crushing around me and the lack of warmth from another comes back with its icy tendrils around my body. I've chosen this fate, I've sacrificed my heart. I know my path.
Is it so much to ask to just be completely dominated and loved by another?
I just want to be touched and loved.
I want to feel safe in his arms.
I want my hand to fit perfectly in his.
I just want someone to love me.

You don't love someone if you can leave them for days without warning.
You don't love someone if your happiness means more to you than theirs.
You don't love someone if you can lie straight to their face and not feel the slightest bit guilty.
You don't love someone if seeing them cry doesn't shred your heart to pieces.
You don't love someone if you get angry at them for being upset and they don't open up to you right away.
You don't love someone if you make them feel guilty for things that are out of their control.
You don't love someone if falling asleep to their voice isn't the most comforting thing to you.
You don't love someone if their laugh isn't your favorite sound.
You don't love someone if when you look into their eyes, you see a reflection of yourself.
You don't love someone if when you kiss them, your mind doesn't go completely fuzzy and you can still remember your name.
You don't love someone if being in their arms doesn't feel like home
You don't love someone if you allow your friends to talk badly about them and you agree.
You don't love someone if just hearing their name doesn't make you smile.
You don't love someone if making them happy isn't one of your top priorities.
You don't love someone if you can admit that they love you more.
