CommonStory
Every now and then
I'm convinced to move a pen
Under the world pressure
It can be my pleasure
To see the highs and lows
While my shoulders hang low
Under the world pressure
This is your first lesson
A read and not replied message
We all hate it
Debating if we could but we can't fake it
Mistake it
miss take it for something other than
Unacknowledgment
Appropriate neglect read message sent
Wait suspense
1 minute 2
2 minutes till
An hour pass by and no reply still
A world pressure all alone you don't notice
Keep the scale heavy with the world upon my shoulders
World pressure
Here's another lesson
Life doesn't mean to be mean
But exceeding the median in any direction makes it return to the mean
Meaning too much of something good is too much of something bad
So too much is too much it's that simple
Plain to plan
Just as I was moving and got hired
If I don't pass I'll abruptly be fired
Because I possess no piece of paper
Please relieve the player
Relief bequeathed a favor
Now no more to savor
Give a dog a bone
Then leave the dog alone
Walk down the summer block
Not awaiting a thunder shock
Just as your alone it rains a summer song
Gravity not tragedy the melody I play along
It's just world pressure

Traveler
Stumbling into reason
The settling dust recedes
Stars so bright and brilliant
So much to know and be

The answers of the universe
Clustered within the mind
Simple state of chance
The emergence of divine

Hope is but an invisible rope
Tethered to our fear
A glow within the darkness
Draws a silent tear

A tear for those who pass
Into the great beyond
Fear shall slowly fade
Cause soon we'll all be gone...
I could be mean
I could be angry
You know I could be just like you
I could be fake
I could stupid
You know I could be just like you

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

I could be cold
I could be ruthless
You know I could be just like you
I could be weak
I could be senseless
You know I could be just like you

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

On my own
Cause I can't take living with you
I'm alone
So I won't turn out like you want me to

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

I could be mean
I could be angry
You know I could be just like you
Following the waving trees,
the same direction as the breeze,
as if a thermal element
was wafted with my gait,

as blown along beside the river,
downstream with it's flow,
I felt a kind of impetus,
impulsive like a joy,
that grabs the psyche,
swings the spirit in high gear,

a thrill of moving onward
through the day and year,
as if time were anonymous
and I a mere convolvulous,
that happened to be flowering today.

One from my collection of poems of joy.

Creep
Late night confessions,
aching of your strong arms
and stirring up thoughts from the deepest parts of the hell your mind runs-
Things that shouldn't be awaken, ever.

The quiet that settles into your skin,
Your steady breath hitching
on every wandering ghost
that runs across your scarred mind.

Turning inside out,
Going delusional with fear
never letting the sleep take you,
sitting up in the pitch black
trying to find your way
and not seeing anything else but you.

You're alone.

Creep
The thing with you is that
you occupy my mind
like a squatter-
There all the time and never leaving.
It makes me happy.
You've made yourself at home in
that small little cottage up there,
Filled it with warmth and music,
food and love.
And at night?
All we do is dance the night away
Dance the pain away

May the air be brazen
and unafraid.
To kiss the glowing embers
in our faltering hearts...

With its fingers,
albeit light and wispy
Yet...
Calloused with experience.

May it never loses
its motivation.
So it could grant us ours
and nurture us back
to flame.

I drew your heart on a piece of paper
and painted it with pastel colors
It's sad,
because,
you wanted it to be vivid
But darling I held my brush,
again,
against the palette
