God's special model,
Soft, tough,unbreakable
Angel on Earth, mom.
Sun kissed
Summer glow
Beach rose
Petals spread
Beauty bestowed
For you my admire grows

I once dreamed of the stars,
That was long before I gave myself scars,

I once dreamed of placing the last puzzle piece,
Now I dream of finding the peace in my own mind,

I once dreamed of being free to roam,
Being free from my own mind is what I dream of now,

I once dreamed of growing up,
That was before I did and the world hurt me,

“Let me go!” Is what I would cry on a warm summer day,
Now that is what I cry out to my inner demons,

Times were better before I grew up,
And realized the world would hurt me,

I wish to go back,
And truly be free,
But now I have scars, a broken mind,
And I’m chained to my own diseased brain.
Thank you for reading this, this is the first poem that I’ve shared with anyone else. If you have any suggestions please message me because I’m just starting out and I’m trying to learn. I hope you enjoyed reading this.

keep your Love
close to mine
this world does not
define your kind
i'll stick by you
through all you do
even when your
heart is strewn
i'll paint your worries
with my mind
replace your broken
parts with mine
your light
it guides me
so i shine, unrefined
we intertwine
through all time
you'll never find me
far behind . . .

The roses of the garden where but an illusion,
the looking glass was filled with a dead man's dream,
Of flying bullets and a blazing gun,
Our blood was washing down a carbon stream.

I see these visions of another time,
Filling my head with the school-bell chime,
And so the white doves came,
And took me on their shoulders,
And when the night was tame,
The world did seem so much colder.

The sun shone thru the trees,
That's all I could see,
Was the weight of the world,
On the back of a boy,
And his busy brain swirled,
Like a broken Christmas toy.

And so the leaves fell in golden grace,
And my tears swelled in sweet embrace,
The death of a father,
And the sin of a lover,
Seemed to me to be a bother,
And so I ducked for cover.

Behind the pickup truck,
Beneath the carpenter's chair,
Two girls tempted lady-luck,
And the brothers stopped by the village fair.

Until the leaves fall gray,
And the sister-wives see the light,
Cry little boy who can't stop to play,
Beyond the simple town,
Where the Greensleeves start to fight,
And the masses to pray.
