He sits on the floor,
Behind the counter by the door.
It lays in bed all day,
Like a ragged coat thrown away.

He's ***** and unpolished,
Like a rule that's now abolished.
Its sole is out of rubber,
He can't find its pair and it can't find its lover.

One would think they're not the same,
Their only contrast is their name,
What's the difference? I do say,
They're both hollow anyway.
I have loved you
Longer than I expected

Harder
Than I wanted

And more beautifully
Than I could imagine
Sun God shine on me;
Every hour I darken your alter,
with thoughts of loving you in my prayers.

Sun God shine on me;
You  bless me with your company,
And I bask in its radiance.

Sun God shine on me;
In your church,
I am the most loyal devotee.

Sun God shine on me;
For if you are the sun,
I am the moon dancing in the sky alongside you.

Sun God shine on me;
Because if you do,
Baby I will shine for you.
I sleep walked through life.
Bending to the will and needs of the others.
I concealed my sorrows,
and ****** back the tears
I closed my eyes and
Closed my ears.
To the world inside and out.
Floating in slow motion,
Counting each day as passed.

Till I crashed into you.

You made me sing songs,
which I did not know
My closed eyes see beauty,
where none existed.
My ears ****** with gentle music
Waves of joys fill my heart,
My body vibrates in rapture
at your mere touch.

As I tune into the divine.

Through you.
Thoughts by the other me.
