Poetry moves from within our souls,
It's emotions pouring out
Covering us in rhymes and flow,
Like rain from the clouds

Infinite letters, words and phrases
In various permutations we play
Collaboration between heart and mind
Breathed into these pieces that we lay

Touching lives with our written form
Healing with words, what's poetically true
Freedom of expression, thoughts and ideals
Crying out in ink, until our sadness is through

Similar in thoughts but meander through individual routes
We all sing the same but to different rhythm and tunes
Inscribe our innermost but to varying worthy causes
We all draw inspiration but from the same loyal moon

A different form of art, yet art none the same
It's in the eye of the beholder, so they say
Poetry is life drawn in pen, it's not an erasable game
It truly breathes life, looking forward to each new day

**We proudly fly our diverse flags
United under one banner
We revel in words of poetry
In the hopes they'd last forever
Deeply honoured by the fact that the amazing "The Girl Who Loved You" would even consider a collaboration with me! Such an experience! Thank you TGWLY for this opportunity! Awestruck!
Here's my reply
Yes
I don't need to be by your side
Of every waking minute
I don't have to tell you
Baby I love you
I don't want to see you
Waist deep in your own tears
Afraid that I won't love you
When mascara runs quicker than fear
You asked me
Several times in less than an hour
How can I love you
When your nothing than an emotion wreck
My reply was as simple as saying
I was the deer caught in the headlights
Happy to leave my blood on your bumper
I shouldn't have to answer every question
Because you already know the answer
Long before it spews off this tongue
I'm so madly in love with you
Criminally insane people call the kettle black
If you saw what I see
How many tears wouldn't roll down
Those rosy hills on your face
How can I be your hero
When you can't be my sidekick
I depend on you just as as much as you do me
You asked me
So it's my turn to ask you
Will you let me love you
The way I know you love me

We see eachother
Through our screens
And we see nothing at all.
All of us,
Our pixels staged
Like empty vendor stalls.

Substituting eye contact with
Fingertips on
Static.
Everything emotional
Is frozen,
Mathematic.

I am longing inside out
For
Savage,
Revealing
Touch

Warmed not by
Electricity,
But by a
Carnal
Flush.
Let us not lose true touch with eachother.
I read a story about two lovers, one died in the others arms.
I can't even fathom.
But I imagine, It's something like when your heart broke while I held it in my hands.
No one Understands how I can compare the two.
But You're dead now, or at least a part of you.
Is six feet under the ground.
I listen to you talking
But the part of you i fell for never makes a sound.
Yet, people are offended I think I can relate to a story so tragic.
They just don't get it...we used to be magic.
no one understands, to me this is death.
Living without you, get's harder with each breath.
I know, you didn't mean any harm.
But this is the end.
And the saddest part is I didn't get to die in your arms.

Scatter my broken heart on a bed of thorns,
Trample the pieces, make it splinters,
Look ahead, it's all forlorn,
What is the point of mending this nothingness?
heart pieces scatter pain
If I had one wish then
I would wish for you
So I could see your *face just one last time
[Verse]
Tell these ******* I’m queen, tell these ******* I’m gold
If you been where I’ve been, then you’d probably turn cold
I give a **** ‘bout you ******* who got a problem with me
I do **** for myself, nobody got it for me
You got an issue with me, but you ain’t licensed to speak
‘Cause I be feedin’ the streets, your *** is nothin’ to me
I’ve been hot with the lyrics and I’ve been dope with the fashion
I said I want it I need, I done spoke, I take action
And when you talkin’ I’m workin’, I’m gettin’ things I’m deservin’
But at a point I was hurtin’ and gettin’ nothin’ like virgins
I be takin’ my time, I’m only twenty years old
Nobody ******’ with Coca, I tell them suckers “go home”
***** I’m hype ‘cause I’m certified, all my ******* qualified
******’ with my team, finna get your face modified
What you comin’ for me? I ain’t scared, fam’
I eat them J’s off your feet with my bare hands
Stupid-*** ***** just stop
‘Cause I ain’t finna tolerate this **** you talk
Unless the ***** a boss she gettin’ boxed
They said Coca been on, and ***** you not
I be ‘bout it but I ain’t the type to start ****
Asian *****, never a fool, always some smart ****
Who you playin’? I done learned the game
Nobody teachin’ me ****, ‘cause me and you not the same
So get to suckin’ *****, you talk too much
You get a bit of ******’ fame, think you popular
You twerkin’ for a name, ****** bought you stuff
I make my own **** money, and I shop enough
They say I lie about the **** I do
Now you flexin’ ‘cause Coca ain’t ******’ with you
*****, swerve – I make moves, it’s the truth
This the mafia, ***** – who you?
