You can't tell me I made you happy. Because after every fight you end up hurting and that is not happiness. Happiness is not smiling at a text and thinking of that person all day long. It is not writing letters and poems and dedicating songs about them. That just plays a part in happiness. Happiness, my love, is actually being with them. It's seeing them with a light in your eyes that you've never had before. It's laughing when they say a stupid joke, and crying when they are in pain. It's smiling when they say your name and it's when you're laying in your bed at night staring at the ceiling with the widest grin painted across your face. It's knowing they'll answer you back when you text them right away. It's when you can feel your heart literally beating a thousand miles a minute when they call you. Happiness is when you are at peace with yourself and when you can tell yourself that you deserve them. It's when you know they love you because they show it through little things. Like telling you to wear your seatbelt, or telling you not to forget to have a great day in school. Happiness is when you can always count on them to tell you the truth, no matter how bad it is. Happiness is when you can emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically feel yourself falling in love with them. **

If you tell me i'm yours
I'd love you even with all your flaws
If you tell me i'm yours
I'd die for your sins and carry your cross
If you tell me i'm yours
I'd defy the gods not considering the odds
If you tell me i'm yours
I'd make sure your needs always comes first
If you tell me you're mine
I'd bring to your table the finest of wines
If you tell me you're mine
I'd love you till the end of time
If you tell me you're mine

The truth still remains,
All sins are all the same
Be it one that brought you gain
Or one that brought you fame

We all walk our different lane
And in the end bear only our father's name
The truth might drive you insane
Or even bring unwanted blames
The truth might bring immense pain
But then it would never make you maim

Instead it strengthens you
Makes you feel free and truly true
You conquer your struggles and other obstacles you might go through
You stand a wise man and not the fool
And when you stay true
You aren't making decisions for one, but for two
One is yourself, the other is for the rest of the few
The rest of the few who wants to feel new

So don't think twice, don't think it through
All you just gotta do is think TRUE

Like a ship
I watched you leave the shores of my heart
And with the tides in your favour
You sailed and never looked back

But then....your ship sank :p

We go through life
Trained to question,
To seek knowledge,
To understand.

But this isn't
An easy task
We have here on hand.

The truth hurts,
And facts aren't always pretty.
A simple "yes" or "no" response
Can bring you down
Quite quickly.

"Is it cancer?"
"Is he cheating?"
"Am I really wasting my life away, sulking in cheap pity?"

Questions like these
Cut beyond flesh and bone.

Their answers go deeper;
They penetrate the soul.

So here's a tip
As you journey and grow:
Don't seek answers
you don't want to know.

I cried today for the first time in years
I cried today, and they were real tears
I cried not because I conquered my fears
Or because I lost all that was dear

I cried today, shedding tears like the rain
I cried today, letting go of all the pain
I cried so much, again and again
And these were tears I couldn't restrain

I cried today, cos' I finally understood me
Knowing fully well all that I could ever be
I lived in the shadows where no one could see
A prisoner to my thoughts wanting to be free

I cried today and these were tears of joy
I cried today, knowing I am a new born
A freed man, that was locked in the skin of a boy
A freed man whose life has just begun

I cried today and they were real tears
I cried today for the first time in many years
This kinda took a lil bit of time to complete
