I felt you, the true you
Bruised, scared, broken,
I haven't seen him for a while
Since we left things unspoken.
People pitty my lack of rest
But they know why i  don't even wink.
What if you came to find me,
And passed me by just cuz i blinked?
Her walls are
indestructible,
I throw rocks, stones and catapult boulders,
I chisel away through nooks and crannies trying to find a weakness,
I hit it over and over with a sledgehammer,
Yet no matter how hard I hit the wall
I cannot knock it down,
I have merely chipped my way into her heart.
A story about 2 people who are in love, yet one being an open book the other being closed.
I'm alone,
Nobody around to hear my soft cries,
I hope for hospitality,
All I receive is brutality,
Help,
Somebody must care,
I'm broken and it's not fair,
All I need is a caring hand,
I bury my head into the sand,
It will be easier that way,
Because nobody seemed to care yesterday nor today,

I'm a fraction away from insanity,
Crushed heart in need of help for vanity,
I beg for attention,
Yet I receive nothing but rejection.
Just something I wrote about people who suffer with depression. I wanted to express how they can feel, despite people showing they care, however, they will never truly know. The title represents how they're not alone "almost alone" but they believe they are!
It's been a long day, my dear friend
But it at last has seen its end
Lay your head down, and let if fade away
You can only hold on til you have to let go
So let it go, because you know,
Tomorrow's another day

You've come a long, long way
and you're far from where you planned
And how you ended up here
You may never understand
And the days and years slip from grip
Like tiny grains of sand
You can't count the squandered moments
That fell right from your hands

You've had a long day, my dear friend
And to say it is over, I can't pretend
For now, close your eyes, and let it fade away.
You've done all that's in your power
You've earned repose at this late hour
And tomorrow's another day.

I'll sit here, and watch the night for you
Protect you while you sleep.
I'll keep the whole world quiet for you
It won't make a peep.
And if I could carry your load for you
I'd take it off your hands
But all I can do is hope for you
I hope you understand.

It's been a life-long trip, dear friend
And this is just another bend
A rest stop along the road you have to take
Tomorrow's another day, it's true
And you'll do whatever you must do
Your way through hell and high water to make.

But for now, lay down your head
Close your eyes, and fade away
No burden can't be laid down
And picked up the next day.
Environmental advice
from a re-purposed hag:
Stop driving cars.
Use a re-useable bag.
Cook dinner at home.
Adopt children, not pets.
Don't use plastic cups.
Don't eat tuna caught with nets.
Don't toss out food--
it becomes methane gas.
Stop shopping for clothes;
give consumerism a pass.
Wear natural fabrics.
Turn off extra lights.
Use solar cells.
Live the days and sleep the nights.
It's about how you live your life.
