Obscurity's trenchant
     sorrows blotting
        tissue paper cuts,
tears aptly smeared
    in hidden fears of
        first dashed allusions,
darkly flippant metaphors
       sans passionate accolades
          left to gingerly decay,
    grandiloquently speaking,
       'Happily Ever After' is
           hardly a verbose nuance
             throughout a quinine

WARNER BAXTER
A poets words have rhythm and flow

the ink they spill is like a fine Merlot

the best with body full and rich bouquet

both have flair and finish like smoky Cabernet

so before you write your next verse or rhyme

red or white, don't forget to pour the wine.
Such a tease
you perched above
me
intent
on your pleasure
but I know
your

only

desire

is

mine

You are the reason I write,
My words are no longer echoes
They are poems shouting love
And you are my poetry.
Because we all have our reasons to write...
