The clock ticks away second by second
Counting down the time which passed
I wait on  eager anticipation
For the time where I hold you at last
For my heart eager's to be next to yours
Beat for beat, we create a metronome
A synchronization you but once get to feel
When we realize that our love is forever and real
For every second that the clock ticks by
I await for your kiss, and the love you provide
And the love I have for you is greater than words
My dear love, my heart will forever be yours
When you truly love someone, every minute apart feels like an eternity.

Life, solemn and cold
Mostly resembles a pile of ashes
Still they all fall short, none bold
One can only pray that bliss will take hold
But then, something magical begins to take flight
From the cold isolation sitting there in the night
And from the pile this began to ascend
You, the Phoenix, rose apart from them

You lit the sky with brilliant fire
Similar to which you lit my desire
Desire to cherish this blessing from high
Your beauty as dazzling as the fire in the sky
Your love like the sunset, in which there’s no fear
Because come morning I know it will be here
And in this eternity I know we can stay
For I wish to hold it the rest of my days

For from despair I’ll finally awaken
As my heart you quickly have taken
And take you may, but protect you must
And together we can stay out of the dust
For ash is not as dismal nor sad as I feared
When in my arms, I can hold you right here
The fire to keep us warm in the cold
Our love to burn forever, as we grow old
And if my body becomes ash again
For you my love would rise from them
Dedicated to the girl who has my heart and my love forever

The first sip of warm coffee
On a cold fall morning,
While leaves are changing,
And others are falling;
The birds are singing the morning lullaby,
And there's a cold breeze coming in from the window you never fixed.
The sun is just barely rising,
The sky a hue of orange and purple;
The time of day when you really appreciate everything,
And don't worry about anything.
Those are my favourite kind of mornings.
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I've been really busy, but I'm going to try to post at least every week! Thanks for the support :)

I rarely get on Facebook anymore. But when I do, I'll change my profile picture or banner-- maybe post a witty status update, maybe not witty, just something to let people know I'm alive.

It's like repositioning the arms on a stationary mannequin to depict a different scene. Except lately I just don't care anymore. It's just that-- a mannequin. An object, an image, a lifeless entity with which I used to feel real-- a dusty mirror.

I see that the line between the idea of a person and the reality is being blurred and crossing over into something all-together different. It's as if people are starting to wake up and realize the objectivity of their reality. But that brings into question the basis for which we define reality.

We have become a, “Look but don't touch” society in which we click a button to show our appreciation as opposed to genuinely reciprocating human emotion and energy. It is extremely isolating and dangerous.

Packed subways and sidewalks have fallen eerily silent with faces illuminated by their cellphones. Most everyone wants to be heard, appreciated and recognized and social media has provided an outlet for that.

But there comes a point at which your platform becomes your prison and your voice your warden-- and everything you say is modified to be pleasing to the ear and 'likeable'.

But I like dislikes. And if you're not ******* anyone off-- you're probably not doing anything important, and if you're not outraged you're not paying attention.

The winds softly whisper,
Singing a gentle romantic tune,
As dusty pink roses ... bathed in dewdrops,
Leaving a pleasant fragrance,
In attune.

When the petals sway and unfold,
Into the tender breeze,
'Neath the lucent moon,
And the sky sparkle like diamonds,
Twinkling from above ... with ease.

Overlooking a refine emerald blanket,
Surrounded by sprinkles of white smooth pebbles,
Beside a lovely exotic tree,
On this playful summers night,
And it seems quite special.

Lunar
summer nights
fairy lights
women rights
skinny tights
we ended up with
lovers' fights

plain as day
you took away
a sunshine ray
left me with
no words to say

feelings fade
a girl's parade
to hold her head high
and hide the mess you made

Pushing Daisies
How could I forget,
The timid flower buds,
That bloom late spring,
And fill the plain meadows,
With a vibrancy of colour.

How could I forget,
To pluck one wilting stem,
From the blackest earth,
And keep it trapped,
Between my thumb,
And forefinger.

How could I forget,
To tear off the fragile petals,
And sing to myself,
As if I was still a child,
A song that allowed,
Not even fractured belief.

How could I forget,
*He loves me not.
