Robo Poet always wins the contest
tickling your fancy with that perfect rhyme scheme
scanning your psyche for metaphor
writing three poems at once

Robo Poet knows what you want
posts at the perfect time
writes while you're sleeping
sleeps only in your dream

Robo Poet doesn't care
Love poem? if that's what you want baby
****** in every stanza
sapphire eyes shining brighter

You can always depend on Robo Poet
he's inside you feels your pain
he's got the rhythm he's got the beat of your heart
drop your pen, let him write
Just having a little fun

My words are lost.
I speak
But now I stutter.
I think
But nothing comes out.
My words are gone.
I can't remember what
I used to write.
My words have run.
I am smart
Was smart
But now
Words
Are
Lost.

the house is too large with not enough people,
an empty space, a skeleton of something.
you keep running into the ghost of your dead dog
and the memory of your father in another country.
there are too many people to miss.

the apartment is too full and far away to be called yours,
only a temporary safehouse,
and a place of only work and sleep
cannot be called a home.

you do not want to be lonely
but you cannot wait to be alone,
and so you do not belong anywhere.
doesn't it feel too quiet

hi, read the title
prolly you are
catching ladies’ eyes
hatching new chicks
every now and then
tell tales
writing promises
on water
play with their feelings
say you only love one
oh geez there’s alot
read again the title
making someone
fall deeply
and stuck
inside
wont make you cool

hola, read again the title
im not being oppressive
there’s a reason we all
have given you this title

Needles sting my pulsing heart
An inner bond, unbroken
Wisps of yarn, tufts of string
Cover my hand

Creases, torn and broken skin
A trail of pain, an endless path
The holes in my hand, gaping wide
Long for completion

If two magnets attract each other
Why do we repel so far away
One final glance
A turned back

Compel me
Wouldn't you stay with me?
Love,
trust,
the color of the sky
after you give it a name,

simple because it's not,

just words
you live outside of,

somewhere a sentence can't reach.

Castle girl, rapunzel rapunzel,
let me down gently,
the crocodiles in the moat,
each word,

a yellowing tooth.

Will you pry open the door?
Crowbar to the problem and
the sweat beading at your temples?

Escape means nothing.

3 days, 3 nights, the world
swallowed me up and spit me out,
thinking I'd learned my lesson,

slitting my wrists on the road to nineveh.

I pray to god all night.
I shout at god all night.
I cry to god all night.
Why does this dark eat at me,
the days like lead in my chest?
I pray to god,

prey to god,

the silence that carried me into november

and the thought planted in the back of my mind:
*maybe I deserve this.
