Identity its a funny thing isnt it
No one really knows for sure the definition
Is it who we are
What others think we are
Or who we strive to become
Is it our ideas and thoughts memories and expericences
Or the smiles we give to those walking down the street
No one really keeps the same identity for long
Always Shifting and changing
Sometimes we run from it and other times towards it
The world tries to shape it and so do we
But the only real question that needs to be answered is
who am i to me?
Strings of an unstrung mind
Without tuning has collapsed
Breaking the cycles of reality
Merging fantasy with actuality
One is not two and two is none
If not two then where is the one

Calm down;
breathe slow
if you need to
just let it go.

Don't let your crown
fall
not even a little bit,
don't give them
the benefit.
How can you switch off what you felt for me?
You told me it was so deep
How do you turn it off?

Could you teach me one more thing?
Please
How do you make it stop
This aching rip in my chest

I don't know how to do it
Can't catch a break, or my breath
I'm begging how do you do it?
I want to shut this off to

she built a home for him in her heart

but he moved out and left it empty

so now her insides feel like a ghost town

with a haunting vacancy from lost love

You can't fix me because I am not broken
I am more then broken
I'm gone
I am the strong wind.
Whispering from cold cradle--
Autumn leaf maestro

Whirling symphonic drum taps,
And conducting the falcon.
Why weep young one?
You were just born
No scars or impurities to mourn
The inside of you is completely pure
With love to give, and insure
With the light of innocence to flow
Wipe those tears, and save them for the years to go.
