Gemineyed Gypsy
My life was saved the other day
A golden retriever, both dumb and brave.

Country winds howling in their greatest defense
As I waltzed 'tween electric and barbed-wire fence.

He let out a bark, “It's time to turn back!”
Soon followed a powerful THUD and a CRA-A-A-CK.

If not for that old dog running after me,
I would have been stuck under a fallen oak tree.
Gus The Brave deserved lots of treats that day,

I sat there watching you and him,
wondering what has he got
that I don’t have
and then it hits me,
he has you
When I  am with her
All is sunlight and laughter
Night falls when she leaves

his piano
speaks of longing
a few notes in minor key
they tell in perfect
lines belonging
to the fingers

only thee

Fur Elise
Beethoven
One of the most beautiful
songs ever written.

I used to know how to
play this piece.
I should get the music out
and relearn.

I see from the third floor windows,
Sparrows gathering around the post feeder.
Crows, ravens, and an occasional stray Jackdaw,
Gather around, waiting to feast upon fresh carrion.
A thousand blackbirds, with their red wing patch,
Swoop down into the gardens by the fountain.
I stare out the window watching the sights,
Never being disturbed in tranquility.

O, caught in a moment I can't escape
with sighs, and groans, and arms e'er folded so,
for Proteus himself can't take my shape
cast as it is with malcontent on show,
heaving with sighs that play on Cupid's ear
to make him smile and please his little frame
while his gold arrows strike about me near
as ever and anon he takes his aim.
Yet ever let his little bowstring sing
and let his arrows strike upon mine breast
to wound me with the maladies they bring
as I sigh by day and night brings no rest.
O, never let that dreadful blind boy miss
as deathwards I sink for want of a kiss.

Little by little,
The colors of the fair are going to finish
One day,
It will be the end
  Of all the vagary

Slow decay of the days
This known Spring afternoon
  Turn to be fading
  Tired
Going to be end

Who has left thy love
Thy hide all secrets in the heart
Days have lost within the days
Getting the path between the path

On what hope,
Loved to Back
And what means
   The life
   Family
Two days of this world
  One day you come
  One day you go
Know the hearts who are loving
   Singing
   Going

On what for her mind cry
She who left her mind
In half of the way
How She grabs all the demands!
Whatever words She departed
In the Songs of despair

So Mind Say
Who is where
Who is for whom
Thy know
Not Anybody else
Passing the every moment
   Alienating
   Loveless
   Mysterious

Such a colorful world
   Growing
   Glittering
But this known Spring afternoon
  Turn to be fading
  Tired
Slow decay of the days
Growing to fade your face
Going to be End

As  broken  and hurt as I might feel
I'm holding myself together
No matter how hard it may seem
-holding back my every tear that wants to slither
learning to be strong, knowing this will pass-
  and
Sometimes I end up with more pieces
Than my own
Realizing I'm carrying yours as well
Helping you feel whole again
As I hold myself too
*Simultaneously
I can't help to help others before I help myself

I know the pain you feel is deep,
your want from life is simple peace.
And though I cannot guarantee,
please listen closely, as I speak.

Presently you stroll alone,
searching for a hand to hold.
You feel your sorrow in your bones,
in harshest sun, you still feel cold.

Pre - dawn, however, is darkest night
that must be followed by morning light.
I pray you won't give up the fight,
the universe will set things right.

I know at times, it seems unclear
that happiness is always near.
But wholly I believe my dear,
someday soon, you'll find some cheer.

I've known you only as a quiet child.
So many years in passing spoke your name,
And hearing it would bring a fleeting smile.
I've known you only as a quiet child.

You're now a wife, a mother; all this while
It took for me to stake a father's claim.
I've known you only as a quiet child;
So many years in passing spoke your name.
Still getting to know my daughter.
