for every time
we fail to see
ourselves

and every time
we failed to see
the other selves

for every self paced
story the fool
believes to be true

and for every
thorn we pull
and again hatch

and for this
incompleteness
we drink

into drunkenness
by the fire
of red beard bards
kyrie eleison - Lord, have mercy

High above in heaven a prayer heard
A man whose heart feared
God almighty I did wrong he said
Yet to gain pardon my sacrifice not paid
For Iam poor and cannot pay
A sacrifice needs money the elders say
Father in heaven his heart did pain
oh for the love of tis human to gain
To make a sacrifice his child he sent
To know the human pain in earth to spend
A child in a manjor was born
to them in darkness awaiting joyous morn
A sacrifice to our sins God did give
The greatest gift for poor to live
Christmas a time with joy to celebrate
Gifts and toys and rituals humans create
Doth not for poor God as a child born
yet humanity doth make his heart torn
its not gifts that mark the day
its a love of God to humaniny with his life to pay
Joy not in the gifts we do give
joy be found to give the dying a life to live
Not in the feast a christmas sprit found
A smile to them that cry a melody of joy to sound
to them suffering from hunger war loss of life in sickness loneliness
in debts in cold in pain letvus us share this christmas

Humbly I admit
The brilliance of gifts
No matter world view or scars

Open to learn
My heart twists and churns
Experiencing empathy through art

There's a yearning in my soul. A sudden dramatic anticipation. To connect, to reflect, to know your joys and woes. Your sorrows and your hopes.
Even for a day..
A minute..
A moment..
A memory to behold!
I don't expect forever, truly forever is untold, but life has unexpectedly introduced our weary souls. Bestow to me your story. I promise I'm no judge. I am too a victim seeking nothing more than love. A piece of me I'll give you. I'll surly accept yours. To feel in life is purpose, to neglect that is absurd.  Let your heart be open, let it carry you away. The pain you've too long squandered, let's relinquish it today.
Forsaken as we are. Despite our pieces scattered adrift this lonely road. We are still yet hopeful, daydreamers may we be, come to me within your sleep. Let me hold you as you close your eyes, as you slip into this thought, no matter the distance, feel me. A fairytale perhaps. Do we not deserve just one? Take this piece of peace. Find solace and let it thrive. Let this moment be, and long into the next to be a guide. The worst at most will this just fade. The best at least is an eternal embrace.

Born
I remember when I was innocent
Life was beautiful
Everything was just perfect
I didn't think too much about things
And according to me
Nothing was there to be thought about

Then reality sunk in
It suddenly dawned on me
that I was living and illusion

Something called World War
had happened
Millions lost there lives
Humanity needed saving
From greed and sadists

One day I switched on the TV
only to see
People protesting
Complaining about trees and papers
last week others were complaining about elephants and horns
Well today's menu is global warming

*I thought life was beautiful

I told him
“I’m going to buy lots of make up,
some expensive clothes,
                              you know,
the ones that come with logos,
and get a proper hair cut.
That’s how you like your girls,
          isn’t it?”
He walked over,
planted a kiss on my head and said,
“I like them smart,
which you’re not being right now.”

And I think that was the best thing
                        he ever said.

South-by-Southwest
Before the dawn's display
Before the rooster calls
And horses neigh
Hot coffee on my breath
Wearing an old hat
that's old as death
I set out in silence
Into the dark
Full of grit/pure providence

Wearing a backpack
Full of life

I cross the faceless row
Feel empty blackness as it weeps
Dark moon has the sun in tow
As the cold icy air
catches on my lungs
Freezing my nasal hair

The frost makes step unsure
I cross the boardwalk
The distance is my lure
I came prepared
I came to my senses
I feel freedom in the cold freezing air

Wearing a backpack
Full of life

Defined in our youth
by others to shape our
direction in life
Criticized and often
over corrected, the
positive reinforcement
seems fleeting
Was it lack of family
structure or was it a
poor education system
Put IN A BOX to
appease societies
notion of what we
should be.

Ere poesy was born, was born a woman we came to know.

A poetess, with word's that fit
A kingdom's grip; Her
Writing's lift.

Her writing's lift the cloud's from rain, her soul thou dost know; for her heavenly glow, can
Ease all pain's.

She gives herself, for everyone else, her books should be stacked upon ancient shelves, where memory don't go, and love won't fade.

She's the sunshine of the morn,
The Poe of women's floor's;
The Poetess of old that's
Become to be welcomed
And known- her literature
Raised up And shown-
Where the dead walk and talk
Where corn is picked clean of
Their stalks, she's the girl that creates wonders from the stars that is her home.

She wanders poetic streets, a pencil and paper her nightly meat.
Her mind goes past time:
Beyond thought, the world she greets, she needs no dime-
She's rich in her kindness,
In smiles she defeats.

An archaic beauty of the woods and the streets, where no shoes she needs;
To dance in a wild poetic style.
