If you're going to love someone, love them completely and madly and give them the entirety of your heart and fill that heart with the true song of love and sew wings on its back and let your love soar freely and bravely and let it block out the sun and  comfort the aches of the moon  and let its every beat lay down a brick to build a road that will out last time itself
Do all of this and more
Otherwise all your "I Love You" 's are nothing more than an empty breath and a shallow action, the poor reading of a fairy tale full of more woe than wonder, more faries of ill intent than dragons of light and hope,  a story destined to end in sobs  and heartache  and tragedy

I know the little boy
that walked for miles
in everybody's shoes
and I know the Man
who speaks only
when he chooses to

I've met the laughter
I've wiped away the tears
I've sat silently
as he diligently walked
through broken years

I've met the comedian
I've met the larrikin
I've met the musician

I've met the old soul
that tells tales of woe
but cries silently
counting every tear

I've met the body
that wakes up every day
angry with the universe
but with nothing to say

I've met
the troubled heart
the irreverent lark
the messed up kid
but comforted
the messed up adult

I know my best friend
and I'll be the one
to tell those
that just saw
one side of him

That they didn't look so deep
they have no right to keep
their memories that are shallow

I've met my best friend
and...
you're wrong
just so you know

I know him
he's so strong

Stronger than the shadows
that haunts him in real life
I know him,
*he's stronger than you or I
dedicated to my best friend... you understand why I had to share... I hope you do...

You made a poet fall in love with you
And expected her not to write sonnets about your eyes
Haikus about the way you kissed her in the moonlight
Expected the fire in her heart not to inspire couplets
You made a poet fall in love with you, and when you left
Expected her not to write pages about the ache in her chest
Write a soliloquy dedicated to her tears
Expected her not to feel every gut wrenching moment of the pen hitting paper like your words hit her in the most vulnerable places of her mind.
You made a poet fall in love with you, and you expected her to be silent.
That is no fault of hers.

Moon tears
i wanna write happy poems
that make people smile
that make them feel alive
but everytime i try to write
what i feel inside
it's all dark
and the paper star to cry
and my demons start to draw
and my tears start to fall
and my heart start to heart
and everything began to darken
now im just sad again

Spin a web...
a little tale...
with the
unwavering voice that
tells of limitless grandeur.

Weave the
finest threads of imagination,
laced with infinite magic...
into a spectacle...
of spellbinding tapestry.

Cast your palette,
unto canvas...
brush with the strokes of
your heart's shackled candour.

String your words
into phrases,
into sentences
that turn into beguiling jewels
that we...
only we...

see as poetry.

Some people
are like
burning buildings;
you will run
into them
time
after
time,
against all
advice,
to salvage
what you
can,
and then
wonder why
you are
always left with
nothing but
ashes.
You cannot save everyone.

Love
Why do we insist on smiling in all our pictures? We hide our emotions and thoughts behind our baring teeth while our eyes show the truth. We use social media as a virtual scrapbook. All we're doing is lying to our future , reminiscing over forgotten memories and "look how happy I was".  Its okay not to smile.

I guess I won that stupid fight of "I love you more."
