Do you know?
All the pain caused,

Do you know?
I'm ashamed because,

Do you know?
Of those marks on my arms,

Do you know?
I wish would end.
So, it's terrible. Yep.

I look up, to the small little lights,
That are only seen at night.
I know beyond them, a new world awaits,
Past the galaxies, into heaven's golden gates.

There, there is no pain, no fear.
I wish it would be close, be near.
No hurt and no doubts,
But no way, I'll ever get out.

Not a prison, such as this world,
For I'm only a small girl.
But I can understand, I can see,
Where one day, I will be.

Why?
Do they they not listen?

What?
Is their purpose?

When?
Will they realise?

Who?
Tries to stop them?

How?
Can they live with themselves,
After they have seen the affects,
Of bullying?
A sort of free verse poem.

Is it I am
Who was concern
Among my friends
Filled with these thoughts..
I am moving across
the banks of a river..
No may be they are busy
Stuck at the traffic
Struggling for their life
I miss you guys
Carrying loads of memories
That can make me smile
Even we are apart
Which makes me strong
Enough to go on
# miss my friends

shut out the light
shut out the sunshine that reminds me
of how much i will have changed
when i leave this place

i have hardened my skin and my resolve
to ignore time until it favours me again
i can't stop the shifting days, and i don't want to
but i can't hurry them along either
and i need to

basic needs will be met, sure
but you are more than just basic

you are complicated and simple
and everything in between a smile and laugh
that i have memorized and forgotten and saved again
a million times

shut out the light
and take it from me, take whatever you need
take it all before i notice the change
that pervades the air here
as my skin darkens and my smile tightens
and my resolve buries itself deep in the places
where winter still keeps me pale
and you still keep me warm

i'd take a whole summer of this grey sky
just to know you were spending your time
under sunshine
truth

Breath of life, it is a wild ocean
always a tide coming and going
in this place, it does not linger long
never holding on, only drifts quietly into night
into stars, into fleeting sparks of fire flies
or in the night waters, a ghostly glow
of phosphorescence, a transient trail
of luminescence that soon
fades and reappears to light
the deepest depths
of sea
to all who stop by here to read this poem, I thank you
to all poets, here and everywhere, I thank you

I've written three poems tonight,
and each one ended up in my waste basket.
Sometime after writing the third,
and giving up for the night
I realized what was wrong.

I wasn't writing about you.
