"I whisper the words unto ears never heard,
"Heed the uttering as they must be understood,
"Let the echoes reverberate through your halls,

"Breath that was taken now reappear,
"Inhale essences only fruitful life,*
"Exhale only purest terms not malice word,

"I bathe upon you waters most clear,
"Let them wash away all now unclean,
"Skin now a refreshed shell, gracefully empty,

"Spirit once fallen, rise from where ever you slept,
"I grant you a reprieve to life once again,
"Heed my doings, revive what once was lost,

Moments past, and life clambered into this once dormant place..

"In grace I was kept, but words were spent,
"I wondered free, no fear or regret,
"Now you out of wilful disrespect,

"Exhume me out of selfless neglect,
"There is a toll to be taken for words spent,
"Heed my words, listen now well,

"Where breath once many now cease sealed last gasp,
"Where skin once supple now tainted in death,
"Spirit once full the shell falls in disrespect,

Where once life was wished, where death had stepped.
Now all was ash and into the winds of eternity swept.
I really think
that it is just a sin.
That when there is trouble
The Big Boys join in.

They all come across
saying that they'll make a change
and then somebodys World
they will then rearange.

The US and Russia
along with us Brits
don't want it that way
so we blow it to bits.

We give guns to him,
supply arms to another.
Then we sit back and watch
as Brother kills Brother.

Who are we to guide?
Who are we to preach.
When we cling on to their assets
like a blood ******* leach.

We should leave others alone
till our own house is done,
yet we watch as our schools
become run by the gun.

Where now it's the norm
to be shot as we learn,
just as long as big commerce
is able to earn.

Those who should know better
don't know how to behave
Happy to see
another Child in a Grave.

So you Big Boys go elsewhere
because it's well known
that if you come to play
you come armed with a Drone.

While you're sitting back
comfy in your armchair.
You can relentlessly ****
from a place that's not there.

Then when you pull the plug
and remove your devices
we are faced with a problem
of people making bad choices.

We have made problems worse!
We have let people down
and when we get a world crisis
we'll react with a frown.

We don't want them here.
They cannot go there.
A whole host of humanity
who is welcome Nowhere.

We created this problem!
We created this way.
So in the future
keep The Big Boys away.

A painter's wooden palette
is used to blend color,
if it isn’t quite right
no problem,
just wash it and start over.

A clean slate with
no layers beneath,
no previous unused batches
or miss- matches.

A fresh start without guilt
and the constant reminder
of mistaken color.

If my brain were this simple
I'd be soggy from starts over.

Instead,

my palette is thick and
crusty with mistaken color
and every new mix
blends the old with the new.

These multi-layer batches
will never dry out or wash off
so I’ve stopped trying.

I'm tired of all this
mixing and matching
where no matter how bright
the color I add,

it always ends up storm gray..

Sands drain on a onyx scythe, like tears of time,
But only life will bleed in form, your moments
Flicker like everyone before, I seek your vision
As my blank stare corrodes your breath.

I can play tricks with your moment, linger those
Seconds, cautious beats of a time. Like kings and
Beggars before I will take what is owed ever ounce
Of numbed essence now yours sands are mine.

Each grain dropped, my scythe will taste your
Soul, and all that will fall is a wilted form. presumption
Was misinformed that this wasn't mine to be given,
You are a vessel of grains and your just ran out.

Tainted perception, afterimages scream out
Upon the world. Her essence bleeds bleached
From her lips filling the void of silence.

Her pain is upon strings, vengeful melodies
Scream upon the air.  Her stick of bone plays
Upon the hairs of those taken with vengeance.

Notes invade the heavens pulling them down
One note at a time, her suffering will be heard
As her soul haemorrhages upon  a cold chorus.

Fucking tired
Lost in a spider's maze
a mind set ablaze
lost in a ocean of self hatred
slowly dying with no wish to live

but see that light?
it's coming for you
there's someone waiting for you
someone who needs you
someone who will miss you
someone who will cry every night your gone -
physically or mentally
who would never forget
you
or any memory made with you
someone who would perish without you
Don't forget someone cares
someone always cares
trust me I know
she cares, someone cares
Thinking of turning this into a song not sure though I would have to edit a bit and this would be the chorus of the song hmmmmm....

darkened eyes, a loss of sparkle
hardened by the starkest heart
marvel at the harmful parcel
imparted scars starting to part

discarded stars, embarking targets
barred from the starving art
pardoned by departing darkness
that was ardent from the start

(in a crescendo poem, the vowel sound you are working with must build up to a peak in intensity(crescendo), by increasing that vowel sound with each line, then gradually decreasing in the second stanza. for example, here i use /ar/ sounds...2 in first line, 3 in second and third lines, and 4 in the fourth line...then in second stanza, use same count backwards, like 4 in first line, 3 in second and third lines, and two in the last line...it can have a scheme of 1-2-3-4, then 4-3-2-1 or whatever, as long as it gradually reaches a peak(crescendo), and then gradually decreases. both stanzas must match in the amount of vowel sounds used)
this is about, and for all of the dark poets...the ones who are willing to write down the things that no one wants to talk about...you still shine!
inspired by Sarah aka ThePoet aka Blueberry :)
parcel - divided into parts....ardent - glowing or shining like fire
We need not count on fate
on the battlefield
where windows reflect our dreams
when we find ourselves crawling
as we laugh.
It is merely an invasion
from which I will not flee
no matter how hot
I find the essence
stained by my other half.

Life’s best moments
will not make you famous
so don’t be anxious
or make empty promises
to a world
which remains the same.
Stay weightless
within your spirit
and keep the salted seas
from turning you bitter,
left behind….
in shame.

The cold light in the heavens burnt white,
Its breath penetrating the emptiness.
All was sundered with ridged trepidation.

Worlds glared in sudden ruination and
Fallen in slumber of eternal silence. Life now
Was suspended in a frigid moment.

She bathed all in her bleached warmth,
Tainted was her touch on the places she
Breathed upon. winds froze in her glare.

Burning colder than hell, but in this place
Only the silence is her presence. rigid love
Is presented to the universe burning numb.

There will be no roses on my grave
I do not want the red to mark where I lay
No people will mourn my life gone away
All the animals will retreat to the cave

People should cry at this untimely death
But no need to make so many trips
Because I just want to part my lips
And speak all the words that I once kept

There will be no fancy funeral
The coffin will shape who I am
I want them to remember who I was when
I didn't believe the race was so futile

So there will be no roses on my grave
Instead lay down lilacs
So every spring my scent will come back
And it will remind only you to be brave

The candle was obscured from view, it bleed a
Shadow on all its abyss of onyx lit upon. The crow
Shuddered and feathers fell like droplets of blood.
They trailed to the floor, it was as night but was
Tormented by the unyielding soul laced within.

The depraved demon had left it featherless, its
Flesh brittle as it crowed one last time the repugnant
Odour wisped forth, silence had fallen darkness had
Kissed upon its life and lurking like a parasite It fed
Corrupted as each feather fell, each breath was misery.

Repulsive incarnation of jealousy it felt  life was
Repugnant in its thoughts, all that dwelled in here
And in the light were dormant, empty it needed to
Hinge its essence to life. To slaughter the whispers
Of angels that breathed thoughts inside now silenced.

As long as the candle burnt charred light so like moths
To a flame would life be held hostage in this place.
Each life digs an abyss to throw used vessels away,
The hillside a deposit of bone and agony the earth
Screams silently now barren where once lush.
Pride before a fall
No one dares to hear the name
Nothing in ashes

Heroes always die
In battles fought in bloodlust
They are forgotten

Books now never read
Pages yellowed neglect
Never opening

Will you hear my cry
Of the times long gone away
Never again found

The shadows hold stories
Of people never seen.
They creep up the walls,
They move within dreams.

Are you afraid yet?
Are you afraid to go?
Will you drag your feet?
Will you walk slow?

The night whispers things
No one wants to hear.
It sneaks through windows
And vomits into ears.

Are you afraid now?
Are you shaking, cold?
Are you panicking now?
Are you ready to go?

It's okay.
Just a moment of pain and then
nothing.

Nothing at all.

You've been waiting for a decade.

It's time to take your fall.
First off: a huge thank you to my mentor in rhyme and flow, V. This was a poem that I was, previously, not satisfied with and extremely hesitant to post. V gave me exceptional advice and edited several lines so that they flowed better. I am honestly proud of this poem now so, once more: thank you, V!
I encourage you to check V out as he's an amazing poet: http://hellopoetry.com/v/
