your blood's almost conjurable,

a bath this heart draws...and

soaks in.

you're such a woman.

seated with the ***** posture

of apprehension--combing

through the shadowy tangles

of your sensual demise.

taken and taken by how life

happens...like a perfect stranger

you feel you've known forever.

utterly conversant on deeper and

deeper meanings of the unsaid--

time flying by till it's wings can

no longer be seen.

Now is the samadhi we die into...

pure connection, establishing

itself by the moment.

our tantra will be fulfilled at eyeshot~

My feet were kept from dragging
When I was wrapped in her embrace
She kept my heart from sagging
When she clung around my waist.

But now she's left me sprawling
And embarrassed when I knelt
She's gone and my pants are falling
I really need a new belt.

You always thought
     the world wasn't fair;
                 That happiness came only
                      to the gullible.

I know it annoyed you
        when I knew exactly how
                          to make you laugh.

You couldn't stand it
         when I'd amuse you
so I might see the smile
                    that you so badly
                                     wanted to hide.

But that tired eyed
pessimist that
I once knew
                   seems to have found
                                  something more important,
                    something new.

And now that you're gone,
           It's like I have
chapped lips.

It hurts when I grin
           So I adopted
your scowl.

But if you were wrong,
        and the world can be fair;
              since I've got your frown,

I hope you've got my smile.

It's all been said.
Every thing a person could possibly feel
Has been bottled up and spilled onto a page.
But there the monkey sits, still typing,
Still moving those words around.
Desperately trying to find something new.
It knows exactly what its doing, but
has yet to replicate what it saw.

I will never shrink myself
To a size that makes
You
More comfortable.
In fact,
I will continue to grow
Loudly.

Sometimes I wonder
Why can't you change
Why are you the way you are
The size
Height
Weight
Even what's on the inside
Can't you change
To fit my wants and needs
I should know what's best for me
Right?
You gave me a brain
To make that decision
Right?
If I hurt you
It's for a reason
And the reason is your fault
For not making me as pretty
As I am on the inside
Or not giving me the weight
That goes with my height
That you also chose for me
A letter
To my body
I hate you.

Rusty tools and broken boxes,
Silly fools and sly foxes,
The only one who really mocks is
You, and me, and our relationship.
We're somewhat compatible, complex but a fit
The way I want to feel your lips dance with my lips,
The way I want you to feel my heartbeat skip,
And my hands drift
How my heart rips,
When I want
You.

moon child
don't you
know the
night is
your mother

she is
the darkness
to your light
moon child
she is your
birthright

I would like just
to be a pebble on the shore
let the tide of life
all over me run over

and I'd have no reason
like the rest to complain
side by side me each knows its lot
none does know any human sorrow or pain.

no one comes home anymore because these streets don’t carry the same weight that we used to
i drive by houses
because i don’t know who i am without some sort of substance in my system and i don’t know what to do once the final laugh of the night dies in the way only an intoxicated joke can
