I want
an adventure
with you through
the woods at midnight
with gentle winds through leaves
making shadows dance
in the moonlight

and when I
look into your eyes
I will see the constellations
and know your mind
is beautiful and unlike
anyone else you shine
and I am set free

If my house be but a garden,
I’ll love it more than gold;
I’ll make it pretty like Eden,
One you’ll smile to behold.

The sun shall rise in the morning;
The moon shall shine by night
And dewdrops shall be adorning
The wonders in your sight.

The flowers shall dance in harmony
With playful butterflies,
And songs like those in Italy
Shall flood the evening skies!

I will make it look like Eden;
I’ll hear the wild bird’s call.
Oh, if I have but a garden,
I’ll need no house at all!

The air is cool this morning..
Walking down a grass filled road..
One last star says goodbye..
Before the morning sun shines it away..

The morning kisses the night away..
Soon becoming the day..
Wishes of dusk skies not to far away..
The evening star resonates its goodbye to the day..

Moonlight cascades the night with borrowed light from the sun..
Memories of the day begin to run..
Night and day in love forever..
Chasing eachother but will never be together..

Dawn and Dusk...
Dawn and Dusk...

Spending time counting stars
Watching them sparkle against the black
I can feel the silence between them
In a void empty and vast
Like you, like me
We used to blaze a fiery trail
With fire so hot we turned to ash
Love, so consuming. I forgot to breath
Loving you, Loving me
But fire dies without oxygen
And as we came up for air
The flames had flickered and died
So, we mourn the loss of the sun, and
The sorrow of you losing me

There are many reasons why flowers make good gifts.
Orchids for your mother on Mother's Day
as a reminder that you never forgot that they're her favorite.
Lilies and Tulips for your grandma
because she's always loved the sweet smell.
Once I picked some of my favorite purple and yellow wildflowers
for a little bird  I had to bury.
I picked them because they symbolized the wildness of the bird.
I used to walk down south road and pick the honeysuckle
and the bee balm and place them at the ancient cemetery
to give my respect to the soldiers who lay there.
There are many reasons why flowers make good gifts.
Love and thoughtfulness,
respect,
congratulations...
But there is one reason why it isn't.
Much like everything else, nothing good ever lasts.
