Standing before Love
We have to be barefoot and naked
We have to be honest and open
And  not be afraid of the pain
It will come anyway and it will cut us deep
But we will feel more present
And see the world as it is

So do not tell me I shouldn't love
Do not tell me I shouldn't fly
Do not tell me I shouldn't hear the music
The angels sing and
See them dance in the starry sky
And do not tell me I should't be true
I was born to love and so were you

You’re that unruly animal that has escaped its leash.
Wrecking havoc at every place you meet.
Your sparks Ignites a grotesque flame.
Setting blazes in total defame.
You can choose to spread beauty or hate,
but became things I should’ve **never spake.
Once again my mouth has gotten me into drama.  Uugghhhh I need a muzzle!

I wish I was Wonder Woman
Protecting the innocent from lies
I'd look hot as hell in a cape
And man would it rock to fly
I'd put an end to injustice
Make all the wrong things right
I'd kick evils ***
And flex my muscles to show my might
When ever a child cried
Right there I would be
To put an end to unhappiness
Any abuse and misery
In my spare time I'd ****** Batman
I mean lets face it, cat woman can't fly
**** she may be
But Batman would be mine
And whenever I'd fly overhead
People would say, Look! Its she!
There goes Wonder Woman
And her name is Amanda B!
I'm aware wonder woman doesnt wear a cape. But if I was her, I would. ;)

When you've lived between the shadows
Only awakening the true self
When the sky casts a dark net
Shielding any visibility
When you've not switched a light
On to the colour of your soul
Terrified of knowing
The vicissitudes of the seasons
Within your own heart
It takes a mighty girl to rise
To look herself in the eye
No longer whispering those lies
To face her own truth*

Day 15 of a "Poem a Day" for April 2016

I wrote you a poem,
But you never saw it.
All those years ago,
Folded in my pocket.
It didn't say much.
It was short and it was sweet.
It said just enough,
Explained my thoughts complete.
I can still remember
Just how it goes:
I said that I loved you,
But now you'll never know.

I meant to be cliche,
Slip it in your notebook.
Something you could read
When you were alone, but
I guess I chickened out,
Or perhaps I just forgot
Because the next thing I know
I sent it through the wash.
Couldn't read a thing.
Ruined, had to go.
I wrote that I loved you,
But now you wouldn't know.

Never was the one
To discuss my feelings.
Couldn't open up,
Reveal vulnerabilities.
So instead I wrote them down.
It seemed safe that way.
But I knew if you read it
The result would be the same.
So I never tried again,
I let it go.
Still knew that I loved you,
Relieved you'd never know.

Perhaps it was fate
Or the things I couldn't say,
But we reached that point
Where you went your separate way.
Now I only write
For myself and strangers.
Anonymity means
Very little danger.
And I understand
Why you had to go,
But I'll love you forever,
Even if you never know.

One beam of morning light
blesses a simple kitchen apron.

Standing here, and only here,
the whole world is made
of small, white petals.

On a day much like today,
infinity became my home.

I can still feel your touch
Your kisses
You......

You play my body to
A perfect consonance
Harmoniously plucking chord sequences out along my shape
Sweet music singing through my conscious as you take me on this mystical journey
Exploring my form with practiced artistry
Softly strumming my senses into an allegro of exaltation
A hedonistic fusion of bass notes felt deep inside, pulsing, stroking, pushing me towards a sublime cadence
Quietly holding me in adagio while
A delicate symphony plays within my skin

Slightly different this time ..... Fantasy & music....!! Enjoy!
