Another Day
Older
Another Day
Bolder

Women have it made
Queen of Sheba
In the shade

My hair
turning gray
Dyed to my natural color
A younger apperence
Old age
washed  away

Older are Older
The clock ticks
Fewer and Fewer
the men pick

The crazy things
I used to do and say
Are only memories,
fantasies of today

Older and Wiser
PERHAPS
Now I take
Sunday Naps
My birthday is on the 23rd this Saturday I look at the year intake stock and said resolution is rather late New Year’s how would I want to accomplish for this next year  I’ll be 58

You
Search for it
Strive for it
Long for it

Then
Watch it
slip
Through
your fingers
The moment
you
obtain it

Let it go
Stop
chasing it
Happieness
Will find
you
When you
find
Yourself
I wrote this poem when I was 21 I was just starting my journey to self discovery even the simple list things such as happiness can be hard to obtain I sat ponder and wondered why this is what I came up with

Lost Soul
i wanted you so
i kissed you
you left me and
i protected you
i dont want to hurt you
so i hurt myself by still loving you

Empire
Nothing is ever over,
Is it?
Everything
Leaves behind a shadow
An imprint on your mind, soul
Sometimes,
Just the shadow hurts so bad
Like a cut deep into your being
You get lost in it
Aching
Hurting
Unable to let go
Of that which cast it
Because now it's a part of you
For better or worse
Some wounds scar but never fully heal

Traveler
So strong
My need to define
Meaning get lost
Within vague lines

What I try to express
In a poetic displays
Is as a Traveler
I realize
I can never stay

But I'll visit you
From time to time
From line to line
I'll try to rhyme

But reading you
Has been my greatest pleasure
I appreciate you all
Beyond poetic measure!
