Once this world was a better place,
Now filled with lots of disgrace
So quick to hide behind their screen,
Bashing,slashing, and gossiping
So you thought she was truly your friend,
Now she'll do anything just to win
Told all of your secrets to any who gave their ear,
Spoke to them your stories, worries, and fear
Remember that there are still good friends,
Will treat you like a princess until this world ends
Don't let it trouble you,
I'll hold your hand till you make it through

My mind is already torturous enough
So, get the **** out
Quit messing with my head
An exhausting, hazy fog blurring my vision
Stop dancing about and playing these games
Just leave...
They think that I need you?
You think that I need you?
How amusing, my dear
Everyone has it all wrong
I never let you inside my humble abode
Don’t think for a moment I’ll consider
I reckon for the first time in a while
I am truly sickened
Such foolish actions should come with a cost
I didn't mean to disappear again.
I also didn't mean to lose you in the process.

They put Us far apart—
As separate as Sea
And Her unsown Peninsula—
We signified “These see”—

They took away our Eyes—
They thwarted Us with Guns—
“I see Thee” each responded straight
Through Telegraphic Signs—

With Dungeons—They devised—
But through their thickest skill—
And their opaquest Adamant—
Our Souls saw—just as well—

They summoned Us to die—
With sweet alacrity
We stood upon our stapled feet—
Condemned—but just—to see—

Permission to recant—
Permission to forget—
We turned our backs upon the Sun
For perjury of that—

Not Either—noticed Death—
Of Paradise—aware—
Each other’s Face—was all the Disc
Each other’s setting—saw—

I don't believe in black
or white. I believe in
human rights. Doesn't
matter if your chocolate
brown or caramel like.
Doesn't matter if your
vanilla white. We're all
humans and so we
should wake up and
start to unite* ~
You cannot judge me, dear fellow
For I was and am to be
Like the moon, stars and sun in the meadow
Here in the great world of dreams.

Yet when I slept, I saw Him beside me
When I had awaken, I was alone
And when I had died no more

Ego sum dominus fati mei...
*Ego sum dominus anima et fati mei...
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
      For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud,
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is ******, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

W. H. Auden
We, too, had known golden hours
When body and soul were in tune,
Had danced with our true loves
By the light of a full moon,
And sat with the wise and good
As tongues grew witty and gay
Over some noble dish
Out of Escoffier;
Had felt the intrusive glory
Which tears reserve apart,
And would in the old grand manner
Have sung from a resonant heart.
But, pawed-at and gossiped-over
By the promiscuous crowd,
Concocted by editors
Into spells to befuddle the crowd,
All words like Peace and Love,
All sane affirmative speech,
Had been soiled, profaned, debased
To a horrid mechanical screech.
No civil style survived
That pandaemonioum
But the wry, the sotto-voce,
Ironic and monochrome:
And where should we find shelter
For joy or mere content
When little was left standing

But the suburb of dissent?

Because there's no silence in my world
Or peace,
It does not stop here.
The noise, drops of rain and
Screeching tires,
So visibly loud
I can't sleep in my own bed,
Do not
Stop
Growing
Living
Existing,
Here.

Fished the mild sun from the pond
In waters soothing let my legs float
The ripples gurgled
Soaking slowly the air tender

Floating phrases I sent with rays and ripples,
Sending away boats of sorrows
Bringing back harmony in days that dribble
When fished the mild sun
From the pond
Let go of sorrow to begin again anew

In the heart of blue mountains
lies a star,
robbed of starlight.
Rises he with the faintest spark
between suns and moons,
he will be bright.
In pristine blue dwells he.
Stand before the sun comes,
beyond the horizons, he will be seen
In the heart of the blue mountains.
So many stars lost in infinity ....
