"Looking down from ethereal skies
Silent crystalline tears I cry
For all must say their last goodbye -
to Paradise..."

- Paradise Lost by Symphony X

Head buried
in pillows in the sky,
voraciously consuming
the fluffy whites.
Windy fingers
sieve the air.
                 Watchful eyes
tracing tails of kites.

He only hears
  the faint hymns
                            from the outstretched wings
         of feathered birds.
            Leans back weightily
          on his throne of clouds.
        Notions form haphazard
in so many words.

Casting his gaze,
               willing it earth-bound.
            Careless trees sway
                       in synchronised tandem.
              Diverse songs merge
              seamless in harmony.
        Singing in unison,
                             revelling the gift of freedom.

             Silent tears fall
                         and trickle as rain...
                  As he reminisces
the images of his forsaken past.
       Scored paintings
of a paradise lost.
All must say
their final goodbyes...
He will bid his,
last.

Current earworm. I feel this song.
Mud on her cheek
she catches crab
by the narrow creek

her frame is sleek
skin saline drab
bone rickety weak.

She makes no show
tides only know
taste of her knee

her hair's knotty lock
makes the wind to talk
feel her slowly.

Why I can't tell
on the mind's sail
she stirs a song

I find her so fair
upon a moment there
then she's gone.
once again at the mangroves
ink
i thought i had
a tattoo of our
love somewhere
deep inside me
but maybe our
passion was
ink from a pen
a heart shaped
drawing on the
surface of my
pale skin that
a river of tears
washed away
after all those days
I begged and begged
for you to stay
and you didn’t

I don't want kisses on the lips.
Kiss my forehead instead.
I don't want movie dates
I want walks in the rain.
I want nights on the couch
Curled up with you.
Reading poetry
And drinking tea.

ever burning, eternal flame,
you have taken my finite skies.
the embers leave only a name
for this vessel that holds no eyes.

forever fire, you're to blame!
heaven has fallen from its rise,
and given ground chance to reclaim
the life stolen by my demise!

never shall I lose the shame
of not ever exchanging goodbyes
with my only love, the dead dame
that my eternal flames despised.

In a world of pain, excitement and decay,
I met people,
New and variable,
Talented and inspiring,

Three with the magic to play instruments,
Sing with rhythm and enthusiast,
A flow so sublime yet raging,
Takes your senses away,

One who has the ability to create,
To draw and sketch reality,
Spilling paint on her art pad-
and blowing your mind away,

Two others who can sing,
Soft and beautiful,
Charismatic waves shoot down your spine-
As they sing patriotism so refine,

One great at sports,
Sends basketball's through hoops,
Claiming trophies-
And ranting about it with us fools,

Two others,
Paradox to me,
Can sing outstanding too,
But are all about sleep and food.
My squad.

I have been put in a cage,
and I feel like a slave,
their used to be others but they all got away,
and I shake and cringe,
because everything inside hurts,
all my fears and worries,
I push all forms of life away,
and I am stuck in a cage,
and their is a monster inside,
who makes sleeping unsafe,
and will make your thoughts start to shake,
and rot away at you until your crumble,
and I cannot escape,
for the monster haunts me,
even though I am alone,
the monster is upon me,

As one disappearing in
an inward distance,
to reappear in an outer
one...there's an aliveness
here, and only here...
forever redefining
the essence of life.
The grass can never
stop telling you how
green it is.

It is not enough
to have known her.
(She was near the ocean).
It is not enough to hold
in the mind each pattern
on each petal
(a Summer flower).
To love is to believe
that Summer persists!
But this is not the order
of living-
She is momentary,
like all things.
