I thought of a great poem
while in the shower
I felt a bit overcome by it's power
I thought of flowers and love
I think it was something in the water
because as soon as the water dried
the poem died
I cried
because I did not remember it anymore.
I am wondering has anything like this ever happened to you?
Will there ever be someone so graceful, so kind
A person so prominent, invading my mind

A comrade, a companion, a brother to me
My searching's in vain; no other I see

I end this writing with a simple request
Please, let your day be simply the best.
My friend.
To a very special friend of mine, a fellow poet. I hope your days are well. I miss you!
I know a sad puppy
wandering the streets
alone
going to bed
hungry
only pleading
for love
yet receiving none
only pain
as he's
left outside in the
cold
once again,
trying to rise above the
darkness

but
in his heart
he soars the skies
with wings
made from the hope
that someone will love him
eventually,
if not today.

Upon a canvas
   blank slate in white
    mind’s eye frontier
  brushstroke whispers
   blended thoughts
    horizon’d dreams
      coating the landscape
   of my every desire
reckless shades
      pushed in place
  dripping from center
       in abstract fountains
   of youthful design
      capturing hand prints
   in wet cement
     dangling from gallery walls
    black on black
        framed visions
   as one more
    masterpiece
collects dust
    in the hallway
          *of my soul
Lavish whimiscal
cat sleeps on my golden lap.
Now ink has gone dry !
I see people
Heart broken
Just like I have been

I see them
I watch them cursing love
Trying to move on

You know
Why there is
All this misery?

Love
Is a healer
Only when minor

It cures the broken
Perfects a smile
And keeps you hoping

But love itself
Is not perfect
Just like you, just like me

It may leave you broken
Haunt your smile
Steal your desires

But let's not
Put the blame on love
Lets not bury it

For it deserves a chance
Like you and me
Let's keep its traces

Though
You need not to
Depend on love

For your happiness
Should lie within
You, your God and music

Be the thunder
To the stormy nights
The rainbow after a rainy day

And to me
This and only this is
The truth about love
Well,in my perspective.
