Jingle Hell, jingle Hell
What we have today
Is country few cam smile;
Goodwill has gone away.

The jingle comes from coins
Taken from the poor
Then to the coffers of the rich
Just like they did before

Education  isn't cool.
Being wise is not allowed.
Be smart today means you're a fool.
Never buck the crowd.

Jingle Hell, an ugly spell
As if we are bewitched
Rich men win, poor men lose
Our places never switch.

So few can celebrate
When Christmas time is here
Prices raised so very high
Than ever were last year.

But nobody that was rich
Will suffer much these days.
Don’t ask them how it’s done.
The rich folks have their ways.

Jingle Hell, Jingle Hell
What we have today
Is country few can smile;
Goodwill has gone away.
Fill your mouth with snow
Summer will pass smoothly
The empty house
Someone had been there a while before
From the washcloths draped over the sink
From the glass of milk
Halfway done

I imagined a young boy
Drinking a cup of milk in the morning
While having a buttered bread
I imagined he whined for orange juice

The tablecloth was still on the table
A ***, two plates and 4 cups in the sink
And the detergent open

I imagined Mother finishing up the dishes
Doing what a normal wife would do
But out of the sudden they left
Leaving the world to wonder what happened
Leaving the world to ponder

What the fate of this family
What is good or bad
Urgent or casual
What caused the abcense
The vanish
What caused this empty house
Transparent without it's people

i am so exhausted by consistently loving you while you inconsistently "love" me
"your love is such a swamp, you don't think before you jump"
Richard Riddle:  12-07-1941 - Born with bombs "bursting in air, and on the ground" (literally), and I'm still around, irritating people . Well, a person has to do what they do best, don't they.
There will be no gala events, black-tie parties, proclamations issued, or "Keys to the City" awarded, etc. I will be with my son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, my cat "Brie", and a special person for whom I am so thankful to have come into my life at the right time. They are gifts that are given to me 365 days a year.
I am thankful for the friends I have at work, and for those who have stayed beside me over the years. I am also thankful for those who have since passed into another dimension, but whom I remember with great fondness.

"Thank you, everyone!!"

Thank you Eliot York for creating this magnificent site. It has been a "blessing" for me in many, many ways!
spring has finally made her entrance
blooms unfurling with colour to show
we've waited for the delayed appearance*

pinks yellows and purples on stems dance
in the warming breezes of the North's trow
spring has finally made her entrance

tiny leaves on elm branches balance
gardens now blossoming by the row
we've waited for the delayed appearance

even paddocks are flush with green stance
along the river flats they do smarty glow
spring has finally made her entrance

eyes taking more than a passing glance
the landscape tied in life's sprouting bow
we've waited for the delayed appearance

somewhat late her arrivals enhance
she adds glistering hues in pretty throw
spring has finally made her entrance
*we've waited for the delayed appearance
