Listen, it's a beautiful thing
when distilled to its essence;
reduced to its purest form.
A paradox and a paradigm;
a paragon of perfection.
Epic in its arythmetic
progression; poetic.
Like Chinese arithmetic,
so hard it hurts. Yet soft
and exquisite, like a bubble
of love caught in a beating heart.
That place where poetry starts.
When poets die
It's sad and true,
It matters not
What their bodies do,
The spirit flies
To Poet's Corner,
In Westminster Abbey.
You'll not see
Busts or inscriptions
For all the poets
Whose spirits linger
Alongside Chaucer, Browning, Spencer,
And a myriad of authors.
Dead Poet you have earned your share;
Dead Poet I will know you're there,
Composing in the Laureate's lair.
For all poets.

I gave you the hour
you asked for
But you won't give me the minute
i need

You told me you needed
more freedom
Yet I'm still waiting
to be freed

I don't know what else
i could give you
Your love is becoming
greed

I don't want this relationship
anymore
But I'm waiting for you

A year ago today I woke up.
And for the first time in years
The sun rose,
Its rays blinding me,
Not with helplessness
But with hope.
I stretched and the sadness slipped away
As the anxiety evaporated in the morning heat.

A year ago today I saw the world for the first time
All its bright lights and smiling faces.
I saw how wonderful it was to be alive.
I stood in the centre of the world
Consuming the beauty,
Breathing in the wonder.
To think I could've stayed asleep
And been oblivious to this place.

A year ago today I breathed a sigh of relief.
It had gone.
There was no longer a black hole within my heart,
Destroying my happiness.

Oh my god it is wonderful to be alive.

A year ago today I woke up.
And I smiled.
It was over at last.
It's been exactly a year. I am so proud of myself. Life is so wonderful and so precious, don't you dare try to end your life because you are brilliant.

It was written in the sand
But the sea washed it away.
It was written on the cliffs
But they crumbled day by day.
It was written on the sun
But the clouds did claim the sky.
And then we wrote it in our hearts
So that it will never die.
all fall reminds me of is how things always seem to fall apart
whether it takes one second,
one sharp and precise knife to end the life of a seemingly-infinite moment;
or it takes decades,
a pendulum eventually stops swinging
my heart will never stop singing
I loved you when I first met you
you loved me
Days went by
our love grew strong you see
Things fell apart
We went our separate ways
But sadly I still loved you
like I had that day
