Sleeplessness is a lonely kingdom.

I could promise myself discipline with the daylight,
but what if I told you that I lied under the moonlight?
Sinners never sleep,
sinners never sleep.

They lie awake and talk
with the wings of Gabriel.
They don't shut their eyes;
there are stories in the picture houses of their own.
Of lie and deciet.
And guilt and anguish.

They'll never sleep.

They'll howl with the night
and forget why they were meant
to darken their hearts to match the sky.

They'll never glow. They'll never beat.
I'll never sleep. I'll never sleep again.
From a sad pathetic journal entry. 16th April 2015, 1.59a.m.
I looked into the mirror
To see
A terrifying monster
Staring back at me

I took a step back
And the monster did the same
Perfect timing
Perfect time frame

I made a confused face
And the monster copied me
A reflection of my actions
Oh what a sight it was to see

To test this beast I smiled
The monster smiled back
And I realized

I'm afraid of it
And it's afraid of me
Neither of us would hurt the other you see

And I learned
That the so called beast
Wasn't looking for a feast
Only someone who could love it

So
I became friends
With the monster in the mirror

And I discovered
What love really is

Among all the poetry books,
I look for the ones with the cracked binding
And intricate covers
Filled with harrowing sadness and raw emotion
The kind that obliterates the souls purity.

Staring at a blank screen,
television oddly silent,
even though the silence kills.

People never talk about
how lonely alone time is
and yet I'm sinking into the
night sky, all alone.

I wonder if I'll
ever learn to love myself.

Linger,
when goodnight brings resistance
and words say time to part,
I can't convince my heart
to do the same.
Time be still,
give me a moment, then,
hasten me here again.
It matters not the place
just the face.
Wherever there is we
I can breathe.
A goobye kiss.
A solitary wanderer
Guided by the winds
Through lonely valleys
Sipping from streams
Sleeping under stars
Night’s canopy as tent
Rolling on soft grass
Lay supine, dreaming
Of the sparkling stars
Holding them in the eyes
Life sparkles with glee
Solitary wanderer
Waylaid from the crowd
Greener pastures
Greets the wanderer
Solitude is bliss
Wanderer finds meaning
Finding ones purpose
Turning away from the crowd
Once this world was a better place,
Now filled with lots of disgrace
So quick to hide behind their screen,
Bashing,slashing, and gossiping
So you thought she was truly your friend,
Now she'll do anything just to win
Told all of your secrets to any who gave their ear,
Spoke to them your stories, worries, and fear
Remember that there are still good friends,
Will treat you like a princess until this world ends
Don't let it trouble you,
I'll hold your hand till you make it through
