I cannot write
I cannot find
behind the creases
of my mind
the words to fill
another line,
those words wait
out of sight
for now I
cannot write.

Fight your Demons with daisies,
When they rear their horned heads
Kiss them on their warted nose,
And tell them they are beautiful.
We are the only ones in the room.*
Your eyes seep into me like honey dripping from a beehive.
We pass by each other and your fiery gaze draws me *closer.

I take in a sharp breath, forgetting the commotion around us.
Nobody else is in the ballroom.
Just us until the music stops.
This poem is from the scene when Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth dance for the first time during the Bingsley ball in the movie Pride and Prejudice. This poem is from Elizabeth's perspective, full of internal passion and love. Everybody wants a love like Elizabeth's and Mr. Darcy's. <3

And if a picture was worth
a thousand words
then my actions
should speak a thousand verbs

And if actions speak
louder than words
then let my speech
rise loud like a thousand birds

And if birds prove
it's possible to fly
then I can tell you
how I love you and why

And if a broken clock
is right twice a day
then maybe there's a chance
I can find the words to make you stay
I want the things I
know and I'm tempted to seek
the things I do not

a sincere wish that, as each morning breaks, we mend
...a ten word bedtime story...
