So full of life and vital things
upon the brink, I spread my wings
and close my eyes and look ahead
at all the things I've never said

at all the things I should have done
of prizes that I've striven for
and hopelessly have never won
of friends I've made
who've come and gone

Of mountains that I should have climbed
instead, on cushions I reclined
and thoughtlessly I drank the wine

of Apathy

So now that clouds have drifted by
and all alone, I lift my eye
and see the way to heaven's door
and know that life's worth fighting for

Next time I see a mountain high
I'll bound right up and touch the sky
I'll seek the prize and win this time
I'm not afraid, I'll take what's mine

won't rest on laurels in the sun
I'll fly to where the work is done
and if it's worth the price I'll give,
of all I have, so we can live
in peace, I'll comfort anyone
who needs my help
to get things done

I'll thank the Lord for what he gave
his sinless life our souls to save

I'll hold my friends much dearer still
I'll share the wine, we'll drink our fill

No Apathy
Mending my soul is like;
Trying to hurt yourself,
Putting back the pieces
that will never be the same.

Silence can speak louder than words.
Silence can be louder than screams.
Sometimes silence isn't silent at all,
but the complete opposite.
Once again, love knocked at my door.
Someone gorgeous I could adore.
It offered me wings to get up and fly.
I stayed put and gave it no **** try.
Love came this close, lip to lip.
And said she was mine to conquer and to keep.
Love rested her soft hand in mine to hold.
Promised warmth to save me this cold.
Love said she's seen doubt in my mind.
But thought they said love was blind?
Love rained down and washed my hurt.
She said she can stitch my torn heart.
She told me to give her another try.
That ain't no way she'll make me cry.
Shook me and sent volcanic shivers up
my spine.
When she said in a voice so sweet and yet so fine.
That if I let her in,she'd forever be mine.
Sounding honest ,charming and divine.
*There was no way this could have been a lie.
This was my only chance to recover and kiss my suicide plans goodbye.
I was lonely for months high and dry all I did was cut myself and cry.
I've spent months in the dark
searching for someone to be my guide and light me a spark.
All I had was a broken heart and cracked lips with blood that
dripped out from time to time.
I was left alone with nothing but agony and pain
A situation I won't deny drove me insane.
Love came over, dried my tears and helped me get up and put on these wings.
I told her as I let out my gentle sigh
That I might as well give them a try.
Moonlight like rain came down pouring on us both.
The flowers around us giggled and blushed.
She touched my hand and brushed the chaos I had off.
She softly caressed my skin with her fingertips.
And before I knew it she snatched a kiss and washed me from sin.
That was the moment my heart felt another love story was about to begin

All my thoughts
I cannot write
Quite so quickly
As they come
A million thoughts
In less than a second
And some are not
supposed to be written
some cannot be
summed up into words
some are just
feelings and life
Like I cannot capture
into words
How the sun looks
or how it shines
off the dew
or how the
golden glimmer
of your smile
can light up
this whole town
or how your eyes
are so blue
like ice
yet you have the warmest hug
like a fall day
when its breezy
but the sun is on your back
You are fall
beautiful colors
all the colors
of the sun
A warm sweater
pumpkin pie
Thanksgiving
Halloween
and slowly
you move into
winter
because
you fall
out of love
and your smile
isn't quite so bright
and the sun
wont shine
So the cold is biting
and I see all your beauty
But that is all
still beautiful
but cold
You have lost
the blue
in your eyes
Now
they are gray
like the fog
in winter
and I don't love
you
I loved fall
and even this doesn't capture my thoughts
but it calms them
to some degree
but without my thoughts
my mind
echos
So
Do I catch them
and mayhaps write them down
some thoughts
are not made for writing
but
I will write them
because
I miss the fall

And I sell myself again
I dive in
and forget
I don't know how to swim
and I drown
in 2 inches
of water
and I jump
and forget
I cant fly
and I don't know
why we don't know
we're falling
Until we hit the ground
