You beat this girl to death
with a fence post, the destroyer.
We cower in fear while you lose
    your mind among the living.
    You got away with ******.
Her stain left us ****** as hell.
How do you live with her death
hanging like moss from your soul?

he said he couldn’t breathe,
so they took his last breath
I’m so sick of feeling like it’s never going to stop. It needs to stop. It’s exhausting to know that everyday social injustice keeps happening and now that something is being done about it, everyone is ******. When I can raise my sons and daughters and not fear for their life. Only then, will I be satisfied.
Being a poet
is both a pain and a privilege.

All you do is
bleed your emotions
on a thousand pages
while people sing your praises
for ages.
Only a poet will understand.

Mask

It is a delicate thing a mask
So small, small, small yet
Fragile
My mask is carefully fashioned,
Crafted and shaped
Flawless but for a crack on the side I
Drape and drape my hair over
It is fine
No one notices
Or cares
Sometimes I wonder why I wear it
But when I get home
Staring at the mirror I am reminded
Why it must be so
My mask is my companion and friend
My harshest critic and my enemy
Yet it has been with me through ups and downs
Highs
And lows
The only constant in life
And sometimes when I’m alone
A tear drops
From the crack on the side
I was working on a Literature assignment for about two hours when I decided that poem I was writing wasn't great, so I started all over and wrote this in five minutes.

The Table

A glorious sight befell my eyes
A pristine untouched bearer of supplies
Made of wood, of steel, or anything buildable
The Table

Possessing an essence unlike anything else
Hearkening to an unalterable purpose and tableness
Providing unending sustenance on a platform that's stable
The Table

Though the lingering presence in this perceptual world is illusory
The unchanging, uncleft presence is perfection conceptually
Artisanal glyphs adorn its sides unmatchable
The Table

While strife and pandemonium reign in this material domain
There remains a bastion of stability man cannot attain
Indeed, this mystical countenance attains a fable
The Table

Weathered and wizened through inummerable epochs
Joyous outpourings bestow praise not enough
Remaining of unmatchable nature even with the made-in-China label
The Table

In this brave new world of no handshakes and multiple rounds of hand sanitiser there exists a blessed irony: social distancing is bringing my neighbourhood closer together. The solidarity of a shared smile - albeit bestowed from an apologetic distance of two metres - lifts the spirits, straightens the shoulders, and tickles the heartstrings more than any viral meme (no pun intended) could ever do.
Broken,
What a strange things?
Light shines through the crack of things are broken.
Broken,
What a strange concept?
The most beautiful words are always flowed from the most broken soul.
Broken,
What a strange concept?
There's a beauty in broken things even light has to be fractured to make colors.
*Broken is a temporary state for humans,
Broken never existed to begin with.
Hii guy it's my first poetry 💖

What if..?

What if it all turned out fine?
What if you let yourself feel alive?
This hiding and
these walls
aren't helping you keep together
as much as
they have been tearing you apart.

What if it all turned out fine?
What if the next time you open your eyes
you ignite?
After all,
you only get to have one life.
Keep believing,
you have the power to move on from your strife.
