Take my ashes to San Francisco
Follow the steps
And lay me to rest where
I always felt free and at peace

Step one: Irish coffee(s)
Step two: Irish coffee to go
Step three: take the walk and shed your demons
Step four: find my spot and sit
Step five: tune in, unwind, and listen for my reply

Let me go into the ocean
And I'll always be within reach
Stay by the sea and let the water
Sing you my love songs
I'll be the fog on the horizon
And the brisk embrace
of the Pacific mist

And if you find yourself in need
I'll relinquish my spot
for those days you could use an ear
And feel comfort
Know that I'll hear you
And I'll reply
And if you weep
Let the raindrops that fall
And the howling of the wind
give notice
That I am weeping too

You may grow lonely
But you will never be alone
I'll be within waters reach
And in the city I will
Always be alive with you.

Take my ashes to San Francisco.

I am the circle
From beginning to end
I am the hearth fire
Burning within
There is no taming
The Poetical Mind
I am the words
You're hoping to find

Forces of nature
Connect you to I
I am the shadow
You dare to define

I am the magic
You felt in your youth
I am the poem
You left on the moon

Come home to me
Fall on my breast
I am the words
That you haven't said

So please don't hesitate
Your opus awaits
I am the door
That opens to fate

Cné
i am naked
and been exposed
i deserve it
i suppose
pretending
at mending
a broken-ness
and making
such a mess
of things
among an audience
never once
thinking
of the pain
i'd be bringing
of a secret
i behold
i regret
i never told
the tears
i cry
i, now
disguise
failing
to realize
my character
being
compromised
Do you ever have one of those dreams where you find yourself in public literally naked with failed attempts at hiding? ... Nothing like starting my day with anxiety.

I forget worries and cares
The unrest in the world I see
When I look at fields and flowers
When I behold a tree

I forget what nags a day
A sigh, a tear and cry
When I see a galaxy of stars
A golden moon in the sky

I forget jarring cacophony
The discord and the strain
When I hear a stream gurgle
And the patter of summer rain

I forget what ails the heart
With the breath of the breeze
It soothes and calms the spirit
It brings quiet and peace

I forget worries and care
When in Nature's company
Disarmed by her gentle wonders
Her beauty and her melody.

Took the serpent for another ride
Is it brave to want to die?

For those of you who follow maps
The serpent symbolizes my relapse

His day of judgment he demands
That's if his rider still can stand

His poison venom haunts my dreams
Like the pain of losing a lover brings

I wake up lost deep in the night
Realizing I'm alone in this vicious fight

Letting go can be so hard
For those of us who've gone to far
....

Glad that's all behind
Wish the best for those still suffering.

In hearts greater than ours
Fables of love and fear are sown

Slain in the spirit
Such a burden of proof
Neurotransmitters
Inexperienced youth

Conclusions are formed
As the intellect yawns
Yet to free your mind
You got to move on...
