A green flamingo
Did land with the flock
Frank said "you ok"
"Yep"
"Air sick once more"
I tried to fly with my eyes
Closed
But I flew in to a
"Tree"
"Bill"
&
More,
I tried to hitch a ride
But the plane engine
"****** me in"
Now my head is bald
And my bottom is
Cold,
&
Soar,
I think next time Ill take the  train
I only hope I don't get motion sickness
I'll be an odd  flamingo if I am green once more.
Fun with silliness try something new
Has your heart ever been broken?
Have you had your chest ripped open?
Do you know what it's like to collapse,
To fall to the floor begging why?
Have you called and texted and written,
Waiting for a nonexistent reply?
When you've watched them back away,
Have you reached out, cried out "Stay?"
Has your heart ever been broken,
It's unsteady beats left for you as a token?
Have you ever been like me,
Waiting to heal, to feel free?
Can you relate?
You can never be greater than anything in this world because you were shaped by it.
Then where does the independence that flourishes in the mind come in?
And is it truly independence or is it just allowing our minds free range to ponder all we've known, witnessed, or heard.
Do we ever really know independence of the mind?
Does it exist?
"I want you to do your best"
"Never give up"
"Keep going"
"You can do it"
"Try, try, and try again"
We encourage you to be the best you can be.
As long as the best you isn't better then us.
There once was a little mouse
Asleep in his own little house
Cosy in his own little bed
On his pillow is his little head

Dreaming of getting past the cat
Creeping past with pitter pat
Trying not to give away a sneeze
Climb up and steal the cheese

Because that cheese is so yummy
So nice in his little tummy
Has to be quick and brisk
When he awakes, he will take the risk

While you were away,
My words seem to fall on deaf ears.
Unvoiced mutterings that fall out in droves,
Burning rants swallowed back in singes and sears...

While you were away,
Time was stagnant; a viscous puddle.
Hours only stretched longer,
The second hand jabbing its ferocious needle...

While you were away,
The clock drove me insane.
Ticking my life away in literal seconds.
Losing sand grain by grain...

While you were away,
And when it's all quiet and dark,
I could hear my heartbeat...
Awaiting the new day to make its mark.

While you were away,
My words seem to have lost their meaning...
As if they were stuck in limbo,
Unanswered calls that keep on ringing...

While you were away,*
I am but a little lost foal...
Because whenever you're away,
I am never whole...
