They said,
"Don’t fall for a soldier,
For the war will take them,"
And when I married,
They said,
“Don’t give them a child for they will not know their father,”
And when her blue eyes looked up at my tears,
I said,
“Let me tell you a story…”
When we finely departed
In silence and tears
I was left brokenhearted
that lasted for too many years
I longed for peace that never came to me,
I cried for hours in darken dreams
walking around in fears,-
While I kept hearing the screams.

Feeling trapped
no way out
it’s comfortable though
no more fighting
so I give in
give up
I’m trapped
but it’s in your arms
Mothers come gently to our rooms, the sunset kiss on the forehead,
Woven homilies from their baskets of forgiveness and spools of yarn.

But for the grave, this heart its coiled sunset unspools, so long entwined
In woods and seas that redden now into the soul of all sunsets combined.
I’ve experienced seven hundred and seventy moulds

I died from minerality and become vegetable

And from vegetative-ness I died and become animal

I died from animality and became man

Then why fear disappearance through death?

For the next time I shall die

Bring forth wings and feathers like angels

After that soaring higher than angels

What you cannot imagine I shall be that.

nivek
we kiss the night
embrace her
and trust;
we will wake
and all will be well.
Quiet tears and silent prayers spoken in the night
Walking through darkness to reach the light
Then back again and the cycle repeats
It's been like that my entire life
And I'm ok, I'm alright
Doing just fine
Alright?
