My brain was clouded with all of the smoke.

I took another **** laughing at the stupid jokes.

Forgetting the promisees that we had once spoke.

I felt as if something was broke...

So I took another ****

To forget we ever spoke.

It was a dark night
When she told a story of her fight
She spoke the coldest words I've ever known
Her feet blistered from the road
Knuckles torn apart from using all her might
Shreds hung from her clothes
As her icy story was told
She drove me up and down the hills
She showed me where she defeated it
And smiled as she said now leave your fear
As I looked back at her I realized I was talking to the mirror

I will bake you a raspberry creme cannoli
if you bite my earlobes nimbly;
I dream your skin tastes of
lemon.

I know right now your heart is broken,
The days are never ending and you're feel like you are.
I know that sometimes, it's hard to breathe,
Sometimes letting it all go away is not too far.
Your head hurts and your heart aches,
There is this heaviness that is weighing you down.
Somedays are so long that you wonder what made you like this,
You curse, you cry, you scream, you sit in silence.
Silence was usually comforting but now it allows the darkness to seep in slowly.

I know you're hurting,  I know you're bending.
But don't break, honey.
Things may hurt you, scar you, bruise you,
But don't let them break you.
You're worthy of all the happiness in this world.
Somedays, you might just exist and just existing is fine,
Don't break honey.
I promise you, it gets better.
A game of the mind where you bring your own card deck
Where one on one is common and the action is direct
A game in which I easily excel
For it helps me shun reality, of real life I can dispel
Where I can summon an army at my beckoned call
And tear at my enemy no matter how defensive their wall
I snap my fingers and my opponents fall beneath me
But no matter how glorious the victory, I am left inside empty
I always search desperately for another game to blind my reality
No matter if the result is defeat or victory
But blissful ignorance I no longer have for a shield
And now in reality I must fight or be forced to yield
